The door into the Aedile’s office within the Sword’s Sheath slid open silently, as it had done for many years now. This was the beginning of Windos’ second term in this office and he knew the room well. He ran his hand gently over the top of his large office chair before sitting and writing his first report to House Gladius in some time.

Firstly an introduction, I am Windos Bruth’Kothae, Lieutenant in command of the Corvette Cerberus, Prefect and Champion of Tarentum, Aedile of House Gladius. Some of you have experienced my leadership first hand; others may not even know me. My door is always open to any questions, advice, criticism, request, moans or groans. Usually I will answer any queries in ten to twelve hours, unless something important comes up.

Though I have only been in office for a few days, the amount of activity I have seen is impressive and I hope to see a lot more of it.
