Report, Jade Serpents, 7/01/07

_Sai entered his office, the electroluminescent lights automatically switching on as he crossed the threshold, and he noted the presence of his father’s katana hanging from its place above his desk. Settling into his chair, he was greeted by its usual creaks and groans, and he made a mental note, as he always did, to look into getting it replaced.

He took his calligraphy kit from the desk’s side drawer, along with a clean scroll of paper. After unfurling it across his desk, Sai selected a brush, dipped its bristles into the inkwell, and began to write:_

Here’s what’s been going on since the last report, 6/24/07:

Well, I’m glad to see a marked improvement in participation, and that, on writing and gaming fronts! Some of you are getting your name out there in DB Wide comps, and for that, I couldn’t be happier! Also, we welcome Sith Warrior Ashura Isradia to our ranks; Ashura, you come highly recommended, and I am eagerly looking forward to your contributions to our Team.

In other news, our very own Proconsul, Sith Battlelord Mononoke “Macron” Keibatsu-Goura, was inducted into the Sons of Sadow!!! This is the ultimate recognition of service and loyalty to Clan Naga Sadow, and we should all strive for such greatness. Reach out to Mac when you get a chance and buy him a drink, would’ya?

As far as the GJW goes, we’ve inked an alliance with Clan Taldrya; their gaming matched with our writing pretty much ensures our survival against the coming threat! Still, I’ll need every one of you to do your part for Team, House, and Clan!!!

Again, you’ve given me an enjoyable report to compile. Keep it up, my beloved Serpents! I’d like to commend both Ashura and Tsingtao for racking up points in the SET; nice job at representing the Clan, folks!

I’ve got some things in the works, which will make me, I’m hoping, an invaluable resource to all of you; news forthcoming!

Now, it’s time for a Tetrarchal Edict: I’m commanding each of you to let me know where each of you stands with promotions. It’s time to keep my legacy of seeing all of you in my care get rewarded for what you do! And, yes, I am aware that “Tetrarchal” is a made-up word… ;p
