CONSUL REPORT: THE STATE OF THE CLAN

…Yes. No, don’t ask. Just ‘yes’. Yes to what? Sorry, that’s classified but no worries, you’ll hear when the time is right (read ‘never because I just loooooove patronizing y’all’).

And oh yeah, there’s a report too.

Overall:

W00t! Vitriol is a-go and running strong. ACC is doing well, and I hear that gaming ain’t too shabby either. If we can manage to generate a fervor like this in the GJW, we should be capable of springing a nasty surprise to all those haters who think we’re out for the count and, who knows, even show those nasty Tallies they ain’t so great after all :P

*The News: *

I’m still Consul. This would not suffice as news except that it means I haven’t been angering too many people yet…which again shows that sometimes, I actually have some restraint.

Manesh Sadow has stepped down from CNS Consul. His replacement is due for announcement soon and, before you all see the chance to jump ship, applications are not being taken. :P

A heads up for the Journeymen among us: after some work, Callus has worked out an excellent set of promotion ceremonies for all promotions up to Dark Jedi Knight. This means that, every time someone gets promoted, they’ll have a bit of a ‘ceremony’ accompanying that joyous occasion. Many thanks to Callus for coming up with the idea and working it out further.

Running competitions:

Operation: Vitriol is still going strong. The Fiction 1 competition winners are out, and attached to this email is a copy of the winning entry to be used in Fiction 2.

Things have been quiet on this front, but fear not, we are working on several things at the moment.

#Arcona:

YES! There is, once again, a version of the #arcona comics out. After some editing to remove a rather…provocative last line, we now have yet another comic. Enjoy!

Conclusion:

The Consul’s office is more comfortable than I thought it would be. The people are nice, the Clan seems to be running smoothly, and best of all, DCers get full dental.

The moral of the story: become Consul, because full dental is definitely worth it.
