Welcome to the insane and wonderful world that is one of my BTL reports! Seeing as I’m still trying to get things situated as Sith Commander, I’ll try to not drone on too much. Not a lot has happened since I’ve been appointed BTL a couple days ago, but I’ll fill this report with wonderful things to come.

Seeing as no one has gotten any medals or promotions in the couple of days I’ve been BTL, I’ll skip straight onto projects.

• New Commander: Pretty much the biggest morsel of information, I’ve resigned as Envoy and Rollmaster to be Sith Commander. I hope to see a lot of change in the team, hopefully for the better. A pretty good spectrum of what I envision will be outlined here, but if you want a more detailed analysis, I’m always open to talk on IRC, AIM, or email.

• Exar’s Shadow Base of Operations: For numerous reasons, I’ve decided that I will not use Umbra Arx which Anochiir constructed as our base of operations. I’m looking into using an empty chamber in Diadem Fortress. More to come on this, probably after the Great Jedi War.

• Exar’s Shadow Spacecraft: After conferring with Consul Aabsdu, he’s allowed us to use the Blades of Kun squadron of (3) TIE Phantoms and (4) TIE Avengers to use during our numerous missions and such. More information can be found on the Plagueis Starfighters section of the Plagueis OOB category on the DJB Wiki.

• Clan Plagueis Battleteam Revamp: As I’m sure you’ve all heard, Knight Kal Vorrac is charged with overseeing the CP battleteam revamp. Such things addressed in the discussion will be standard weapons for the team, as well as uniforms. More to come once the revamp is in a further stage of completion.

• Exar’s Shadow Three-Strike Rule: This rule will be implemented as soon as Great Jedi War 7 ends. It’s really simple. Basically, if you do not participate in three comps in a row, or if it is a continuous competition such as a caption contest, three consecutive weeks, you will be kicked out of the team. There is no room on our roster for inactive people. Being in a battleteam is a privilege, not a right.

• Exar’s Shadow Competitions: Competitions from me will come after the Great Jedi War. The war is the absolute LARGEST thing for us to focus on right now. We scored third place in the Right of Supremacy, I can see us getting second or first place in the war!

• Exar’s Shadow AWOL Check: Effective immediately, you have until the sixteenth to get an email to me saying that you are here and would like to be in the battleteam. If you don’t want to be in the battleteam, email me and I will have you removed. There is no room for people who don’t want to be here. If you do not respond at all, you will be removed.

• Exar’s Shadow Fictional Jobs: The fictional jobs will undergo a complete redo after the Great Jedi War. More to come after the war.

• Exar’s Shadow Focus: I would greatly appreciate it if each of you email me saying which activity you like to do more: gaming or writing. If it is gaming, please include which games you have and play. If it is writing, please include what type of writing you enjoy. (I.e. Poetry, Runons, Fictions.) This will help me come up with competitions after the war, and inform me of your interests so I can make this experience more enjoyable for everyone in the team.

• Exar’s Shadow Advertisements: If any of you have any ideas for ways to recruit members into our elite team, don’t hesitate to contact me.

As of now, I envision the team to prefer space combat and be well pilots. As such, I will assign you callsigns for you to use in all pieces of writing. HINT: Great Jedi War fictions and runon. You, of course, do not have to use these in regular chat or informal discussions.
