A remote vulnerability exists in mIRC 6.x up to the newest, 6.12. This vulnerability allows an attacker to crash an mIRC client by sending a specially crafted DCC command to a user or channel. Go to the mIRC site at www.mirc.com and download the newest version. This is only a couple of days old, so if you haven't downloaded mIRC recently, you don't have the newest version.
