We are closing the third week of the Seventh Great Jedi War. Our Clan stands second amongst its rivals, but it is a weak grasp... a position that must be defended. Though, personally, I feel it should be discarded and our position as the ultimate Clan... the First Clan... assumed by force, if necessary.

These individuals are responsible for the War Game feature of the Seventh Great Jedi War. And it is with great pride that I announce their continued success. However, no matter how cunning their ability to manipulate the chess board - their success is determined by the constant, never-ending work ethic of Scholae Palatinae. Each point you secure fuels this effort, driving their prowess in the confrontations against rival clans and the Yuuzhan Vong.

These individuals have elected to accept additional duties during our battle with the Brotherhood. I applaud their extreme devotion and service to Scholae Palatinae... without them, we would not have the dynamic support and extremely high morale that currently courses through our collective veins!

And, of course, I am always willing to help in any of these fields to ensure the obvious outcome of this war: Scholae Palatinae dominance. I have already proofed several fictions and ACC posts, ensuring that we are using correct spelling or pointing out continuity issues. I will do everything in my power to help each of you succeed!

Goals

My goals have radically shifted from the ones I held at the beginning of this competition. Had you asked me two weeks ago if I would have sacrificed everything and anything to conquer our rivals... I would have said yes. But now, after two weeks, I have seen that the lust to prove ourselves - to have fun - is diminished.

With that in mind, I free each of you to break from the strategy and dive into the fields that will bring you the most enjoyment. If you wish to shoot for a high placing in the GJW and earn yourself a grand reward (I do give out awesome awards), by all means - continue your assault upon the GJW in force... I will stand beside you every step of the way. But for those of you whom only wish to participate in select events, I encourage you to pour your everything into them. Go after those Novas! Bring home the gold for your Clan!

Ultimately, our trademark... what makes CSP powerful... is our ability to participate. In the Rite of Supremacy you all fought with tooth and nail, heeding the call of your leaders for submissions, matches and activity. I encourage you all to find that place once more... defend Scholae Palatinae.

Success

Should the Clan decide it wants to win the Seventh Great Jedi War there is only one thing we must do... participate at each and every opportunity presented to us. We cannot afford to 'let' other people carry the weight. It will be the conviction and desire of the Clan's 115 members - in force - that changes the outcome of this war... that dethrones Taldryan from their soapbox and lets CSP spread its wings and claim its dominance over the Brotherhood.

How do we get there?

Fiction. Poetry. Graphics. There are sixty members in this Clan capable of carving an hour a day to work on submissions to those events. If we each did our part, supported our peers (by submitting) and brothers in arms... we would dominate those three ladders. They can be won in force and by quantity.

I encourage each of you to reflect on your devotion to your fellow members... do those submissions in honor of them. Because, at the end of the war, you will want to be able to tell your brothers and sisters that you did everything you could. That you made the sacrifices necessary to help them succeed...

If not now, when? If not us, who? No regrets. No remorse. No excuses.
