Greetings to everyone,

We have entered week four, or day four in the plotline of the Seventh Great Jedi War. How are we doing? Whats happening next? Read on.

====== Happenings ======

1) Clan Prospectus & Other Updates

I wanted to hit on a few non-GJW things real quick, please keep with me. I finally have a finished version of the Clan Taldryan Prospectus on the DJB Wiki thanks to the help of several members that helped with various things from some name suggestions, grammar assistance, and other things. Its all appreciated. This page has a bunch of information to the Clan mostly regarding our fictional standing in the Brotherhood. Itll be updated and added to over time by the Clan Summit.

Beyond that Benevolent, our website junky, has fixed a few small issues on the Taldryan website plus update the timelines page. PCON Chaos and I have made many changes to the Clan Forces page and the Clan Taldryan Codex. We updated some of our Capital ship information, adding current status, and made a new section in the Codex for our past fleet possessions seeing how we will have several new ships after the War while others will be destroyed in the War or decommissioned and traded in.

2) GJW Day Three Standings

Guys, I have to say it again, youve done an outstanding job in the War efforts so far. Because of the continued dedication of a large majority of you we are in the lead of five events including the JK/JO/JA Gaming, the ACC, Fiction, Poetry/Graphics, and the Wargame. We are now past the halfway mark in this conflict. Im going to ask all of you to push just as hard as you have for the last three weeks. We have done an amazing job, but we cant give up any amount if we want to win this thing and win it overwhelmingly.

Im a very proud Consul today; these events really are the best and worst of times. We have 45 members active in this endeavor and I believe we can get a few more in involved before the end. Just last week we had Exor Blood and freshjive joining in the action, one fairly new Journeyman and an older member, both putting out their work for the betterment of the Clan. I really appreciate all the work and I stand beside you guys in all I can do. Lets all keep up the great activity and finish off the GJW right!

3) GJW Day Four Events

-Gaming Ladders-

We remain in the lead on the JK/JO/JA ladder but are still a good ways down in the BF2/EaW/Other ladder. Several have been dominant since this started Vardar, Mav, Shadow, and others. Im glad no one has lost the use of their hands yet. =P Seriously though, we still have time to make up ground in the second ladder and increase our holdings on the first. Gamers, keep up the great pwning!

-Fiction: Cloak and Dagger-

This fiction has no minimal length, where you write as an elder of your own clan, how they are reacting to the war, and their guidance of the clan in this time of war. Elders are to write as a new journeyman in this situation. Use player characters. These are due Saturday night before midnight, no late entries! Remember those ID lines and PIN numbers when submitting.

-Fiction: Cry Havoc...-

This is a second fiction that is four pages minimum length. As the inter-clan rivalries flare up again, moving toward a dangerous showdown, while the Vong are still at our heels, how is your character involved? This fiction will be continued in a future event. This sounds like a more serious one, but it should be good. Writers out there try and do both fictions this week if you can. -ACC Event-

We are neck and neck, back and forth with Clan Scholae Palatinae in this event. Thanks to several very active ACC players we have many in the bonus point territory with others on the way. Lets keep this up till the end; it would be great for us to win this event when we usually dont looking at past Vendettas.

-Run-on Event-

Jac is our main coordinator on our Run-on efforts and has continued to do an excellent job, big thanks to all those involved. We currently have a few things going in including attacking back at some Vong ships following us, chaos on the Katarn as a captured Vong is actually causing chaos, and command working on getting out of there and to our goal, Antei. Weve had around 30 people working in the Run-on, a phenomenal job. Look for more updates for Jac along the way on this.

That covers everything going right now. The one remaining event is the Wargame. Thats more or less a map that our War Council (I, Chaos, Jac, Shadow, and Halc) make decisions on where to move and we gain points based on activity from you guys doing the other events. We are in the lead mostly thanks to you guys for doing so well in the other events, major props to all of you!

The only note-worthy event going outside of the GJW right now is the SHAFT event, thats actually working with the GJW in a way. If you play any CTF matches in the remaining weeks of the War they count for this event too. The winner at the end of the month gets to use a custom Warbanner made up for just the winners of this event. Check out the event information if thats something you would like to work for as well as continuing our success in the War.

Welcome to Apprentice Altair Hord, our newest member since my last report! Hopefully you have heard from your House Envoys and are moving along well in the Clan and Brotherhood. If you ever need any help dont hesitate to contact any of your House leadership or if that doesnt work PCON Chaosrain Taldryan or myself. We are all here to help! This applies to any of you as well.

====== Is that It? ======

Another week down now with three more to go, that does sound a bit ugly though doesnt it? I know a conflict like this is draining. During the last Great Jedi War I ended up placing third overall in the Brotherhood, which was a huge effort especially while leading the Clan. There is so much more competition this time around, much of that from just within our Clan so I dont think Ill end near as high this time. Trust me; all our efforts will be worth it when we end with an amazing, overwhelming, and clear victory. Itll be our time to show, without a doubt, Taldryan was the best and is still the best; the most dominate Clan in Brotherhood History, no matter the challenge.

Lets lose those stereotypes that havent been true in quite some time anyway. Lets make sure everyone knows we are the gaming, writing, ACC, Run-on, and Graphic Clan. Lets make sure everyone knows we stand up together in these events. Lets make that motto stand true.
