It's been a very long month since my last report. The Brotherhood is engaged in Great Jedi War 7: Incursion.

The Dark Voice Staff was furloughed to allow them to participate in the war, however, they've seen been recalled so that we may focus on our primary focus - publishing the next issue!

First, let me carry on with some office-related news.

Quickly - I'll be on LoA August 9-12, I'll be in fabulous Las Vegas getting drunk off my butt and gambling :) I'll be online once (damn ACC GJW Ladder!), so if anything amazingly urgent comes up, send me an email with URGENT in the subject, otherwise it can wait till I get home.

Senior Correspondant / Senior Editor

I'm pleased to announce the creation of two junior-leadership positions on the Dark Voice Staff - Senior Correspondant and Senior Editor. These two positions are now official on the rosters.

In brief, these two individual's lead the writing staff and editing staff, respecitively. As long as I am Dark Voice Tribune, these posisitions will be filled by existing staff members who have proven dedication to the establishment. These members often work nearly as hard as myself on each issue, with a work load that many people would shudder at.

SW Odin and JH Kaz were initially put into these positions when they were still unofficial. They both proved themselves to me, and took these positions officially.

Odin's Departure

It was brought to my attention a while back that SW Odin would be departing the DB for real life reasons for an extended period of time. Tomorrow marks Odin's final day in the Brotherhood, and I'd like everyone to thank him for his contributions to the Dark Voice. He played a good role in my transition into the job, and his achivements were excellent. Odin was awarded a Grand Cross of the Dark Side for his contributions to the Dark Voice! We wish you well Odin, and hope you'll return to the Dark Voice soon!

On that note, Senior Correspondant is open as of tomorrow, and will be filled by an existing staff member about the time we publish the next issue.

Issues Going Forth..

After taking advice from a great many people, I've decided to go forward with issues every 6 weeks. I believe this is a healthy balance between a month being "too" soon, and two months being "too" long. Therefore, here is the publishing schedule the Dark Voice will adhere to going forward, starting with our issue at the end of August..

Please note that these dates are approximate dates, and the actual date for each issue will be included in the issue prior to it.

I'm not going to spoil it too much, but this issue is going to rock. Seriously, we've got an entirely new layout, which I think meets the desires of what everyone has been looking for. If not, we'll critique it some more! Theres a huge line up of articles, so keep your eyes peeled on or about the 31st of August! Also, if all pans out well, you'll see a Dark Voice Comic :)
