I have a few positions that need applicants, websites that need visiting, and general reminders to send out, so I thought I would package it all in a tidy report.
Appeals Panel Applications
The six month term for the current members of the Appeals Panel is nearing it's end. So as of right now I am opening up the three positions for applications. If you don't know what the appeals panel does, see Section 8.05 of the Dark Covenant :)
Here are the criteria you must meet to apply:
-Rank of at least DJK
-Past DB leadership experience
-Must have passed the DB Judicial Certification Course
(in the past, or you can take it now)
As with any Chamber position, some "legal" experience would also be a plus but this is not a requirement.
Include all the above information and anything else you think I should know about you in your application, including answers to these questions:
1) Why do you want to be an appeals panel member?
2) What do you think the panel's role is?
Email all this information to me by Friday, August 17.
Left Hand of Justice Applications
Copied directly from my djb.com news post...
The term for our current Left Hand of Justice, has almost run it's course. Raken has been an excellent LH and the CoJ is sad to see him go, but the Covenant is a cruel boss and fires the HoJ's every six months. So, I will be taking applications for the Left Hand of Justice position.
Here are the criteria you must meet to apply:
-Rank of at least DJK
-Past DB leadership experience
-Must have passed the DB Judicial Certification Course
(in the past, or you can take it now)
I would prefer some "legal" experience as well, such as classes taken in school, etc - but this is not a requirement.
Include all the typical application information, and email them to me by Sunday, August 12th.
New CoJ Website Feature
The "Cases" page has been brought up-to-date, this page contains a list of all the cases the Chamber has tried, including the case name, charges, and the verdict.
The new feature - in the past the cases page was all the info you could get, however now if you click on the case name/number, it will shoot you to the JST report which discusses the case. Just a bit of added information for any of you who are curious.
Chamber of Justice Wiki Pages
Many of you may not know that the Chamber of Justice has several (4, actually) pages worth of wiki content. One of them, the Justicar page, has recently had the JST crests added to it, the others contain very useful information everyone should be aware of. Here are all the links, I'd reccomend checking them all out:
That's all for this report - if you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me.
Signed and Sealed in Justice,
Dark Jedi Master Kir Taldrya Katarn
Justicar and High Protector of the Dark Brotherhood
