I was really impressed by the number of entries, many by members who don't normally enter many comps. I was especially impressed with the people who looked up the proper format for dictionary entries!

But there can be only one winner... and with the word 'Opgasm'.... it's Kaiann! :)

opgasm, n. -s. State of excessive excitement upon being endowed with -> Ops privileges in a -> IRC channel. Can, unlike the more common orgasm, be experienced by individuals of all ages and is actually most common in male people below 20 years of age. Upon a survey amongst individuals who have recently experienced both, only 34% preferred the opgasm over an orgasm.

In the Brotherhood channels, opgasms have recently become significantly become more common. Especially in the one channel whose name I cannot mention in public, individuals, e.g. JST Yacks, have reacted with strong opgasms to a simple "mode +o" command issued by HM Kaiann. Opgasms are usually accompanied by verbal outbursts, e.g. "w00t", "yeah" or strong heartfelt thanks. While every Brotherhood member technically could experience an opgasm, it is usually restricted to those who either did not expect to get opped at all (JaM3z comes to mind, #db) or who thought nobody was present to be opped.

The author of this passage still remembers his first opgasm upon having attained Dark Council status.
