I'm sure you have all been waiting for me to announce the new Left Hand of Justice and Appeals Panel members, and here they are.

Our next Left Hand of Justice will be Battlemaster Shikyo "Okami" Keibatsu. Congratulations to Shikyo and thank you to all those members who applied. The next Hand position to open will be the RHoJ position, in January.

Next up is the appeals panel, but before I announce the new members I wanted to make a comment. Currently there are 23 people who have passed the CoJ exam and 13 people who have served in HoJ positions in the past. If you eliminate the overlap and the people who are ineligible, then you get 31 people who were eligible to apply for the Appeals Panel positions. I received three applications, total.

I know that these positions may only be temporary, and they might not have the prestige of the mainstream positions, but they are vital for the operation of our club. The Covenant lays out our Judicial system, and all the positions must be filled for it to function correctly. I have seen many of you discussing CoJ related issues on IRC and the MBs, but when it comes to step up and take the positions, I find myself woefully short of applications. So in the future, please remember that all of our combined efforts create the DB environment we all enjoy, and only through sustaining those efforts by volunteering can we continue on.

These are also six-month terms, so you can apply for the appeals panel again six months from today.
