Consul Report #20

Finally a report that is not based around the Great Jedi War. Oh wait, it does have GJW stuff in it. Argh! Well, either way, the GJW has finally come to a close, and the results are slowly starting to be released. This report is going to cover a number of fictional things and real life things, so it is an important report to read. Anyway, let’s get on with it already!

First of all, I wanted to thank all of you who took the time to participate in the Great Jedi War. To those that didn’t, I hope you’ll do so next time we have a major competition. No matter what our finish, you all need to understand that we have improved tremendously since the last Great Jedi War one year ago. While we did better in the Rite of Supremacy, six weeks versus two is a major difference, and towards the end we did start to tire. Either way, we did great, and I plan on us improving even more over the coming months.

• Ok, first news of the report. Who is the new leaders? Due to several problems, the leadership of Clan Plagueis has been shuffled around, but hopefully this will be the last time for a long while. Anyways, the following is a list of your new leaders throughout the entire clan:

Obviously, the current battleteam leaders will stay the same, and Dismal’s first priority will be to fill the house envoy positions. Anyways, congratulations to our new leaders, I welcome them all to their positions. Especially Esca, who is rejoining Clan Plagueis.

• So, now that our leaders have been announced, let’s get on to other news. First of all, as I said earlier, no matter what our finish in the GJW, we did a great job, and can only go up as we move closer towards our next vendetta, whenever that may be. In the coming months, there are several things I want to work on specifically. They are: ACC (I’m going to get all of you a CS and qualified, or else), Fiction (we could’ve done so much better in that event), EaW (we’re gonna start pwning at that game), and run-on (we’re going to get a lot more organized when it comes to these things. More news on this stuff will be forthcoming, however.

• Fictionally, a lot has changed as a result of the GJW. The Antei System has been taken. For Clan Plagueis, Aerun and Nintura have both been obliterated, and Shintera suffered heavy damages. Aerun suffered the worst, with around 20% of the planet terraformed. Diadem Fortress, in particular, has been rebuilt into the Yuuzhan Vong style fortress: XXX. We are currently working to tear it down, but for a while we’re going to have to decide how to go about rebuilding the home of House Exar Kun. All cities have been destroyed, and reports indicate that 93% of the Aerunians were wiped out. For the time being, House Exar Kun has been relocated to Kapsina, clan headquarters.

• Along with the damages to the Jusadih System, our fleet suffered heavy damages as well. While not exact, it appears we lost around 40% of our combined fleet and ground forces. Luckily, our fleet will soon be replenished, so yippee for that! Also, former Proconsul Robert Daragon, who was on the Atrum Pars when it exploded, is currently MIA.

• With the GJW closing, awards are numerous as you all are awarded for your work in the conflict. They are slowing being completed, but thus far I wanted to say congratulations to Royal for his Dark Cross, Dismal for his Sapphire Blade, Bubba on his promotion to Sith Battlelord, and Arcadian on his promotion to Dark Jedi Knight! Congratulations also to those of you who won tons of Seals of Pain and Clusters of Fire!!

Due to the new leaders, most projects are not yet going to start back up. After about a week, though, I’ll have more news on projects (right now I’m still trying to wind down the GJW crap). There will be tons of Wiki updates, though, and feudal systems and new fleets and clan system updates and master/student program updates and on and on and on. There’s tons of stuff, but it’s all coming soon. Gimme another week to get things back to normal

The Great Jedi War just ended, final results are coming soon. For about… a week, maybe, there won’t be any major competitions, but then we’ll be loaded with them, so prepare!!!!

So, there’s your new lists of leaders, as well as first GJW awards, but there are like… fifteen more awards coming in the next week or so. Again, congrats to all of us for our showing in the GJW, no matter what we did improve a lot, and that’s what matters in the end. News on projects will be coming in the next report, so until then let’s take a little break, calm down after these six all-too-long weeks, and then get ready to charge head on come September 1st.

Basically, I’m saying you all deserve a vacation this week, so take it. I know I will… well… a CON vacation, which is basically no vacation :P
