My Family,

The Seventh Great Jedi War has concluded. We snatched the honor of Second Clan; however, that secretly means we are the First Loser. Our bid to overcome Taldryan was shook by a series of resignations, lackadaisical attitudes and a loss of 'hunger' in the Clan. Ultimately, the blame falls on the man in charge... which is me... and I accept that I did not do everything in my power to energize this Clan and lead them in a time of Vendetta.

I am also mature, and keen, enough to realize that my current blueprint for success was not... well... successful. So our Clan will be undergoing a rapid series of transformations this week... please do not be alarmed when you read all of them, they are for the betterment of our Clan.

Clan Changes

House Acclivis Draco - With the resignation of DJM Natth a'Niel Palpatine, KPN Cuchulain Palpatine has stepped to the forefront to assist QUA RevengeX Palpatine as the new AED.

House Caliburnus - Long-standing QUA Thran Occasus has resigned. His capable pupil has stepped forward to fill his seat... assisting QUA Rasilvenaira will be young JH Yzarc as the House AED.

House Dorimad Sol - Ancient, closed House of the Obelisk will reopen. Taking its reigns will be OPM Koskian d'Tana and assisting the QUA will be DJK Syphoc Rilkel whom is handling the House AED position.

Wards - Xen, the longest tenured of Wards, will retain the seat of ACC Ward. Cethgus continues to serve as the Gaming Mentorship Ward while two new Wards have been appointed... Taking the position of Character Development/Wiki Ward will be our own KAP Impetus and filling the growing demand of Run-On mentorship, DJM Arania/Niemand will accept the RO Ward position and has accepted Cooch and Vail as her assistants.

Clan Summit - Brace yourselves... Phoenix will be assuming the mantle of Consul, Lucien will be taking the title of Proconsul and I will be stepping into Clan Envoy as I groom my future replacement (for KCE). I will explain these changes later on... but I trust that everyone will work with their new Consul and not against him. Otherwise I will reach out of the grave and kill you dead.

Changes In Responsibility

No longer shall we have the whole RM/Envoy deal. I found that by distributing the power amongst multiple individuals not only created problems with the Chain of Command, but made it confusing for our Leaders to understand their exact duties. The Aediles of each House will now be handling the contact/mentorship facet of their respective Houses. This leaves the QUAs to handle promotions/awards and House direction; as they know their administrative duties are being handled by their assistant.

The PCON will be working with the QUAs to organize and stimulate BT activity. Ultimately, the PCON will be handling the competition aspect of the Clan as he ensures that QUAs are running their basic competitions as he continues delivering trivia, All-Stars and Clan-Level Competitions. He will carry the brunt of the Clan's administrative duties, leaving the Consul to act. The CON will now be able to focus on working with his Chain of Command, oversee Projects/Wards and delivering high-level competitions and working upon the Dark Council (its not easy work).

The KCE will become the bridge. Their task will ensuring new recruits pass the Test of Lore, the basic of House Envoy duties are accomplished (Welcome Letters, Ways of Communication, Activities of the Brotherhood), Weekly Mentorship E-mails are delivered, the Master-Student Program runs cleanly and efficiently and the Promotion Guidelines are in check with the MAA approved standards.

Wards are delegates of the Consul whom work to benefit the Clan and help it grow. Currently we possess four of the finest and they do a good job of maintaining their responsibilities; however, be prepared for a larger role in the upcoming months as they begin to deliver updates and reports to the general membership. These reports will include updates on their respective fields, tips/tricks and additional information to assist

Clan Projects

Clan Dominion - We actually have one whole planet complete (Judecca) and have substantial work began on the other three. This is due, in large part, to the contributions of RevX and Thran. I wanted to offer them both a special thanks for the work they have done on not only jumping on my ideas, but bringing them to life in their own, unique manners.

Clan Web Site - We have a couple people crashing the boards right now on this. A large issue is that we did not have a coder, but - now - we believe we can at least give it an honest shot. The template has been created for some time, but we just needed assistance getting it set up. We will be filling in all the content once we get the basic pages set up - keep your eyes peeled on this.

Clan Calendar - Phoenix will bring a reign of organization to the Clan. He will be using a Project Matrix AND a Clan Calendar to keep track of tasks/duties of his Team. And I believe he will, unlike me, have the strength to crack down on people when they fall short on their commitments.

Clan Paths - Sarin has not gotten back to us on all of this project, but we plan to wrap up some of the final pieces on the Scholae Palatinae Imperial Knights and the Traditional Paths. We are hoping to continue expanding on this project until CSP is a beacon for all paradigms within the Force... it will come along nice and slow - giving us a rich diversity as we continue to develop our characters.

THE FIN

There are a million things I could report on... but I felt it was important to address 'why' I was resigning from my position. So, here we go... being Consul, how I run CSP, requires massive amounts of dedication and time. I could do less and retain the position, but I simply demand more out of myself than coasting by in the hot seat. Unfortunately, I do not have the time to remain in that position...

I am moving from my residence in Indianapolis, Indiana to Sayner, Wisconsin for the next several months. There I will be taking care of my Mother whom has sustained several injuries and is unable to maintain her business, ranch and personal health. So, as the loyal Son, I am going to assist her as she recovers from her mishap and begins to make preparations to move back to Central Indiana.

It has been my honor to serve Scholae Palatinae. And I am pleased with our progression since my ascension to the hot seat... but we are far from done, folks. We still have a task that requires completing: dethrone Taldryan. And it will require each of us to be loyal to our Clan, giving everything we have in her name and remembering that when we look our fellow members in the eye we can say, "I did everything I could to help you succeed."

A New Tyrant

The 'Tyrant' Line was created by Consul Emeritus Dakari. He holds the established title of Dakari the Merciless and he granted me the title of Braecen the Heartless... as I step down today, I award my successor his title... Phoenix the Ruthless.
