Goings-on

Sorry this is so late. The weekend holiday was my chance to celebrate my birthday and I lost track of time. It also got me thinking rather depressive thoughts so I was really down too. Proof that physical wounds heal but mental ones take much longer.

Well I can't say there's much going on since the end of the Great Jedi War. It appears most of the House is still slumbering but I'm going to start trying to get more members in here and active. For now, I have one little fun competition for you guys. It's pretty easy really. Just think about the songs you like and how those songs relate to your character. It might be a whole song or it might be a verse or two. Write down the song, album, and artist of at least two songs/verses along with how you feel it relates to your character. Just throw that all in an email to me :)

Just so you all know if you are interested/qualified. There's going to be a Championship ladder in the ACC here soon. You have to sign-up to participate. If you are interested and don't know how to sign-up just throw me an email and I'll help you.

Other than that there's not much else going on. I know school just started up and everyone is settling in with that. Heh, even me. So maybe I'll have more to talk about later on. For now, go have fun and enjoy!

There's always the weekly SA trivia held on IRC. In the #SA channel and on the message board every Saturday at approximately 1300 EST. Make sure you check the DB news page for weekly updates.

Oh and there's the Inter Club Training Event or ICTE that happens every Saturday in the #outerrim channel. You'll need some games for that. There's also the Gaming nights during the week if you happen to fancy a game. Just hop into #dbgaming to see what's going on.

Ramblings and Other Such Things

Work Related Fun – We got in a new international flight and that's been....interesting....to say the least. None of the managers hired any additional people to cover the various aspects of dealing with this new flight, which is stupid to me, and instead pulled from the shallow pool of people already working the other international flights. As you can imagine this has caused a painful strain in the workplace. Good thing the effects are not fully felt on my end of things :D

Thought of the Week – "If you celebrate your birthday, congratulations, you survived another year. There are others in this world that didn't make it another year."
