Greetings to everyone,

The Seventh Great Jedi War has been over and everyone is enjoying the break. Lets hit a few of the happenings and whats up going out from here.

====== Happenings ======

1) GJW7 Pwnage

We dominated these events and I want to congratulate everyone again. All the awards have gone out, and Im just going to re-cap whats been awarded.

2) Clan AWOL Check Results

After a week or so we finished up the Clan AWOL Check. We had 100 members in it, with 59 exempt, 12 that replied or known otherwise to stay, and 29 to remove. We now sit at a happy 74 members. What we need to do now is focus on improving our members activity as is and really push to encourage our new members to grow. All the levels of leadership will need to take a step up on membership interaction. Our Promotion Guide that was updated a few weeks before the War has appeared to be working out well, many are moving right along. I believed then and still do we hit a good balance with this, but well probably try and update it soon to explain things a bit more.

The Dark Council will be looking at Promotion Guide standards across the Brotherhood in the coming months to discuss helping our overall club standings with new members, making sure we arent requiring too much. Compared to some others Ive seen, I think we are pretty fair.

3) Clan Taldryan Tallys

Its that time again. The Clan event that asks the members to nominate their picks for Best Newcomer, Best Sith, Most Active, and others. Ill send another email out about this shortly.

4) Projects

A short update on projects, we have many going thatll start moving now with the GJW over. The fictional development of our Clan Military is now complete for the most part, major thanks to Justicar Kir Taldrya Katarn who has been doing this with Shadow, me, and others commenting as we have gone along. These include many concepts Kir had in his mind while he was Consul; its nice to finally have them worked out and in public. You can check everything out on the DB Wiki. These will be matching information on the Taldryan website soon, but for know you can view everything here.

The next Tal Times issue will come out soon, probably another week or so before thats released, once we get the needed amount of content. Updates to the KrTal System and Rybanloth System will be coming this month, and parts of these may come up in competitions for you guys to contribute to. Mav is helping out helping out with a few things, major thanks to him. Hell be doing things like making images for our new fleet ships, redoing our system planets so we can use them in graphics and things in the future, and more. Keep an eye out and youll hear more as things come along.

5) Future Clan Fleet

If you guys have read the Grand Masters Report this weekend, you would see he released the Fleet Reset spreadsheets that he sent to the Consuls and Proconsuls this week. We have already picked the Cotelin-class Star Destroyer from the limited ships. Ive came up with a pretty great fleet with the help of several folks, and I think we are about set on it. Well probably send the list in soon. If you have any thoughts on it though or suggestions, feel free to email me with those and Ill make sure to look at them.

The SHAFT Event for August was posted on the event wiki page today. Congrats to Vlad, Shadow, and Mav for the top placements. Make sure to check out all these new events on the Taldryan Competition page.

We have two new Clan events I started up, both are pretty good events. The first is developing our Clan History and the second is a fun fiction event that can help add to our Clan systems image. House Archanis has two Battle team events going and one for the entire House, great job there. The other two Houses should be opening up events soon.

DB-wise, there are the Monthly Topics, signups for the ACC Championship ladder, and another for the Dark Voice. I hope we have several in the ACC ladder, would be nice to have another Champion from Taldryan.

====== Promotions, Awards, SA, Etc. ======

Tons of GJW awards, including promotions, merit medals, Seals, Nova, Clusters of Fire, and so on, all taking up too much room to put in this report. Id like to note though congrats on Ziggy, DS, Vardar, Vodo, and Daar on their promotions.

Welcome back to DJK Jaysen who just transferred back in. Welcome to our newest members: Kozer Gago, Taurnil Ancalime, Sidarace Rathden, and xlr8 213!

====== Is that It? ======

A somewhat small report for me, but thats all we needed right this moment. Ill do my best to send out periodic emails between my reports, which Ill get back on a weekly happening, possibly bi-weekly depending on our Proconsul and what he does.

Weve had a good rest since the War ended and I know many still need time to recover. We fought hard, but came out better than we ever have in a Great Jedi War sweeping the events like Ive never seen. For the next month or so we are going to take a steady path with small yet good competitions, getting a few projects out of the way, and building up a new Clan Fleet that will shine for Taldryan, only the best for the best Clan in the Brotherhood!
