Aedile Report

Rumours surrounded the whereabouts of the Aedile for the past couple of weeks and certain eye-brows were raised when news filtered through that a shuttle had arrived bearing a weary and battered Pontifex. Cuchulain quickly called for a parade of all House Acclivis Draco members, then swiftly canceled it, work having piled up on his desk while he was off on whatever errand that had dragged him away from helping restructure the House following the Great Jedi War.

People had first thought heard that he had been sent off on some assassination mission that would almost definitely result in the vicious man's own death. That story changed as it was retold by different people, until it had evolved into a story of a trial before he was elevated to Dark Side Adept. This then became a competition against Jac himself, a battle of wits and nerve, which then became a drinking competition between several other Elder Ranks which Cuchulain had blagged his way onto. Finally Timbal suggested that he was probably off looking for new Twi'lek dancing girls to fill the positions of those killed. This was a lot closer to the truth than RevengeX was willing to admit...

The weariness explained, Cuchulain called the House to attention as he strode out in front of them, not allowing them to stand at ease while he addressed them...

Dark dudes and dudettes!

I say "Kinda" in the subject as it's been a few weeks since I've been about. No twi'lek dancing girls unfortunately, but loads of sleep deprivation for all the wrong reasons. I came back to an abundance of emails about new members, medals, promotions and I have to admit I am very happy to have had to wade through them all to sort them all out. You have made me proud.

I shall request from Phoenix that he give me access to the Clan message board and I shall update both the Competitions listings and Promotions guidelines on there. Hopefully this will be sorted by Monday evening (GMT - the Proper Time-Zone), so I'm not gonna list them here. :)

Over the last few weeks we've had a few members leave. Karva Dronaal's offline life has taken over his DJB time and he's had to temporarily hung up his sabre, and Tevon Kassik has decided that we're all too rough around the edges and turned to the Light Side. Mincer.

As well as that several people have gone across to the newly re-opened House Dorimad Sol. While I am happy to see the old House reopen, and more specifically see those people appointed as QUA and AED, it obviously takes some skill and leadership out of our own pool. Best wishes go out to those who have moved, and I can't wait to kick your asses next Clan competition to punish your disrespect to HAD! :P

Sometimes life isn't easy. Sometimes the ineptitude of higher-ups goes un-noticed until they are put into a position of command. Tie will tell whether Phoenix has been given enough rope...

My role here is to help each and every one of you. All you need to do is give me a shout, and I will do all I can to help in any way. That doesn't mean Thran can come to me to show me his rash from rolling in poison ivy, but I'll see what I can do.
