Something was going on. The opening ceremony of the Library of Lears had been interrupted by the terrible news that someone has stolen a valuable and powerful artifact from the most high security vaults in the new complex. Locked in, and now being searched for the item, the Dark Jedi of Ektrosis found that they were becoming agitated, and suspicious of those around them. Krath priest Mal'ari'carun had lashed out at the Library Guards that had attempted to search him, killing three before Aedile Biask managed to stop him. With only six hours remaining until the Quaestor returned from his inspection of the Clan Fleet, Vodo was hard pressed to find the artifact, and recover the culprit.

Ok, besides the almost complete lack of submissions to last weeks events, I’m pleased by the activity in the Run-On. If you have not yet begun to participate in the Run-On, DO IT NOW!

This week, you will be able to submit to the Fiction and Poetry events!

FICTION-

You’ve been trapped in this Damned Library for far longer than you care to say. You’re becoming agitated. You know you could solve this mystery far faster than it was already going, so why not begin your own investigation. Besides, if you catch the guy who did it, wouldn’t you be greatly rewarded?

Write a fiction about your suspicions and Paranoia leading you into an investigation against the orders of your superiors. (hint: don’t actually solve the investigation, but points will be awarded for cleaver stories!!)

Poetry-

Suspicion, Paranoia, and boredom are your enemies, and without them, you’d be fine. But how deep does the rabbit hole really go?

Write a poem exploring how deep your megalomania really goes. We’ll be awarding points to those who show an ability to write a really disturbing, dark poem.

So get to work!!! We’ll be keeping last weeks events open as well if any0one decides to submit to them retrospectively.
