Proconsul Report – 10-15-07

Week 3 of Reclamation has begun and is in full swing! I am very impressed with the amount of activity I have seeen from the Clan as a whole over the last two weeks. 117 Unique submissions to the events, not including all the gaming matches that have been played. All in all, I feel as though this has been a successful competition so far, but I warn you not to rest on your laurels. Keep up the activity level and assist your House to attempt to become the First House of Scholae.

A few things I want to touch on, most of them pertaining to Reclamation.

Gaming

Yes, you can play whoever you wish within the Clan. This means that HDS vs. HDS matches are acceptable as are HAD vs. HC matches. These are of course, just examples.

Also, team match scores are multipled by 1.5 for teams that contain at least one non-CSP member and doubled for all CSP members. However, you cannot have a match where one of the teams does not have a CSP member on it, for example: CSP/CSP vs. ARC/CNS is not acceptable. A CSP member must be on each team, so CSP/ARC vs. CSP/CNS is ok.

Fiction

Small note here on the week 3 fictions. Each of the fictions must include the capture of a Vong Shaper within the plotline of the official fiction. If you have questions, please contact me by email.

Other Events

The Other events this week are the requisite Flash Game, found here:

The other “Other” event is a graphics competition. This is separate from the overall graphics competition, which focuses on the weekly fiction events. This week long event covers the whole of Reclamation. Entries must be at least 500x500 pixels.

Overall Events

These events are still running. Week 3 saw a dramatic shift in the order of crpytex cracks, with HAD coming in first, HC coming in second and the Weeks 1 and 2 winner HDS bringing up the rear for a change. See, Dorimad Sol can be beaten, all it takes is persevearance.

Conclusion

I realize that this is not the most comprehensive report I’ve ever written, but with Reclamation taking a great deal of my DB time, I have not had time to assemble a proper report. I will do so after Reclamation ends. It will include all the results, medals, transfers, etc that have happened since my last full report and will be all bright and shiny. Expect that the week after Reclamation ends.
