Proconsul Report:

Okay ladies, gents, and Kieran, this is your first Proconsul Report. Here’s how this is going to work for the future: Mejas and I have discussed the Summit reports and both agree that having two reports telling you basically the same thing is a waste of time, however, as they’re required by the Dark Council, I’ll be sending out weekly updates of what I’ve been doing to keep you all in the loop and also demonstrate that I’m not sitting on my ass. I’ll also be keeping you up to date on any comps that I’ve been running. Also, if there are time dependent events launched that a weekly report won’t be able to inform you in time of, then I’ll send out a separate email so that you guys don’t miss out.

Comps:

Two for this week, the ship names competition (details at the competition centre) and a Clan Run On, located on the clan forum to get all of the new faces acquainted with each other. I’ll have the results of the ship names comp out soon, as well as a definitive Arcona Order of Battle up on the wiki, which will allow us to move onto more exciting Arcona RP-related projects.

Tasks:

This week has been hellishly busy for all of Arcona. Mejas and I have been spending a lot of time talking through various summit appointments at all levels (usually spending at least an hour a day on it) and generally working to build up an effective, cohesive House and Clan Summit Team for you all. We’ve had a few shuffles around, as mentioned in Mejas’s report, but hopefully the guys we have now are settling in and prepared for a lot more work in the near future – we’re not losing this momentum.

Other than that, I’ve been pottering around establishing a list of what needs to be done to the Clan Wiki Pages and assembling a team of Wiki-editors to keep us up to date on that. If you think you can help out, please let me know, I’m taking every offer I can get.

As I previously said, the Run On has soaked up a fair bit of my writing time and is progressing nicely. Keep participating guys, we’re getting a nice little fictional back-story going here.

This week, I’ve got a little tale for you. Myself, the Galeres QUA Zandro and my boyfriend were out in Leeds one afternoon, and on the way back from a restaurant, Zandro starts moving his hands as if they’re pincers, pinching his first two fingers and his thumb together before him. The boyfriend and I look at him quizzically, eyebrows raised fractionally in an expression of bemused curiosity. By way of explanation, he said conversationally. “I’m being a crab.” No mention was made as to why.

Frankly, I’m still at a loss as to what provoked him into ‘being a crab’ but I can pretty much guarantee it had something to do with trying to get into a certain large-breasted girl’s pants.

Okay, these reports will be a lot more informal than the rest of the summit, as there really is no point to them and that’s pretty much my leadership style.
