Tsingtao threw his gear on the floor and crashed onto his bed. "Man, I am beat." he thought to himself. He started to fall into a slumber when an alarm rang. Tsingtao quickly jumped out of bed and went to his desk. He stubbed his toe on his gear. Reaching his desk, he turned off his alarm and read his datapad. 2 alerts. BT Report overdue 7 days. BT Report due in 2 hours.

"Damn it!" he exclaimed as he opened a memo screen and began
typing.

News

Sorry for missing my last report. I have been extremely busy with that parallel universe we call Earth. I have not had a chance to contact the Jade Serpents like I would have liked. So any penance I'm given I'm cool with. We have had some new members added. Again encouragement of participating in the Orian Invasion is encouraged.

Tyro Jos'hu is participating in a charity for Multiple Sclerosis. He is participating in a charity walk in Tennesee. Here is the information he sent me.

I am involved in the MS Walk, something I've committed to annually, because my Aunt Susie has MS. When I was younger the symptoms didn't affect her all that much and when we went through some hard times as a family, she was like a second mother to me. We are very close even to this day! Now MS has reared its ugly head in her and has been doing so for at least 15 years. She is degenerating quickly and it breaks my heart even to think about it. She still has a lot of spirit, and that gives me hope. This project was given to me from above as something to truly believe in and fight for; if you have not love, you are only a clanging noisemaker. If you have love so as to move you to act for the good (and reject the bad), you can change the world.  



I do not yet know this coming year's dates and will fill you in as I find out more (Last year I think it was April 21), especially once I am able to register on the site and you can donate directly through there, but for now you may send me a personal check, made out to me, so I may deposit it into an account here in Memphis, TN, which I have set up specifically for MS Fundraisers. This will raise money for research for multiple sclerosis, and I need all of you for support and help. Last year, most of you helped me reach beyond the goals I could set, ending up on the day of the walk with a check for the National MS Society for $1,065.00. Again and again, thank you! I guarantee you not a penny of what you give will be wasted. As those of you who were on my contacts' list last year know, this is not the last time you will hear from me. I will be very diligent in this, asking God's blessing every step of the way, and I believe it is a calling I may even find a way to devote my life to.  



Every $500 will:  



1. provide 25 clients with walkers.  

2. help pay for approximately 5 utility bills for shut-in clients.  

3. cover the expense of home delivered meals for 1 month for 6 clients.  

4. buy 3 batteries for motorized scooters.  

5. provide ramps for 5 families.  

6. provide 5 window air conditioners for families in rural areas.  

7. provide unrestricted financial aid for 2 families.  

8. pay for 100 hours of respite care.  

9. underwrite 25 self help groups for MS clients.  

10. provide cooling vests for 5 clients.

Multiple Sclerosis interrupts the flow of information between the brain and body and stops people from moving. The National MS Society believes that moving is not just something you can or cannot do, but that moving forward is who you are. Just by reading this, you are connected to the potential to, the hope, the momentum, and the intertia of moving forward. With the help of people like you, the National MS Society addresses the challenges of each person whose life is affected by MS and helps them stay connected to the great big moving world.

Having multiple sclerosis means that you may not be able to walk when you wake up. Or that you may suddenly have impaired vision. Or that your memory will fail you for no apparent reason. The symptoms of MS are different, and devastating, for everyone - the only certainty is that it will affect yet another person every hour of every day.

Why You Should Sponsor Me:

The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will use funds collected from the MS Walk to not only support research for a cure tomorrow, but also to provide programs which address the needs of people living with MS today. Because we choose to walk for those who sometimes can't, because we choose to donate to the MS Walk, we are getting closer to the hour when no one will have to hear the words, "You have MS."

Normally I would leave personal information out of my report, but this is for a good call and anything we can do to help the community is a good thing. (We need subjects to rule don't we?)
