At least this parade called by the Aedile wasn't in the middle of the night. What made this parade unbearable was the fact that Cuchulain was still drunk. The celebrations after the Reclamation win still hadn't stopped, yet there he was, up at the front, trying to talk without first using his detox powers. What a sight.

Everyone had thought it was bad enough when he tried to chat up Impetus on his way around the parade when he was supposed to be inspecting the troops, but it only went down hill from there. Yeldarb ended up with vomit all over his newly polished boots, and Imp's husband Ararin got a mock slap to the face and a challenge to go outside. Before he had finally got to the dais at the front of the parade, Cooch had stopped to relieve himself in the corner, all the while whistling Lynyrd Skynyrd's "Sweet Home Alabama". Now he'd got to the podium no-one dared tell him that he still hadn't put himself away following his impromptu toilet break...

Dark dudes and dudettes

I could go on and on about how proud I am that we won Reclamation, coming back from the dead and kicking the asses of the other two Houses. I could harp on about happy I am that Acclivis Draco are in their rightful position as CSP's #1 House.

But as hard as it is I won't. I will just say thank-you for your efforts again and not bore you. Fitting rewards have been requested for those people who myself and RevengeX found to be instrumental in our win, and should hopefully be announced over the next day or so.

I am at this very minute on a different internet window typing up the competitions page on the MB, link below, so go check that out. There are a couple of cool looking competitions on there, so keep that momentum going from Reclamation and go win some medals!

I've stopped announcing how many courses have been completed, and to be honest they have slowed down. There are a few people in the House who have already passed the requirements for the different Dark Maven awards already, and no doubt those will continue. Natth, RevengeX, Yeldarb and myself have all got some so check out the Wiki and the Shadow Academy to see if you can have them too!

Run-on Training

As mentioned last week I have contacted all of those people involved with the run-on training and they have all said that they would like it to continue. What we need to do now is see whether they want to continue with their own story or start a new one.

Whatever! There may be those of you reading this who were not about when this started and want a new one started anyway that will either run along-side the existing or replace it completely. I'm open to suggestions, and please feel free to reply across this Google Group.

Future comps

I've been speaking with RevengeX and looking at possibilities for other competitions. Short and fun, long and epic (but fun too), daft and comedic. Needless to say, we're going to try and cover all bases, and all tastes.

The Fin

Thank-you again for your work last week for Reclamation. To say I was surprised that we turned it around so late in the day and from so far behind would be an understatement. You have done myself and RevengeX proud.
