ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

Ok so that is out of my system. Its NCAA Football for those who dont know. Anywho, Reclaimation ended this past week. HDS placed last unfortunatly, however we were first throughout the entire competition. This is amazing considering we have not been open as long as the other houses. Great Job to those who participated. Also kudos to Prajna and Braecen who placed in the top 3 finishers for the competition.

This week started the first competition that Banshee has seen in some time now. I started a competition for our Warcry (Motto), as well as a battle standard for the Brigade. This standard will go on our wiki page when it is online, and fictionally will be a patch on our battle uniforms. Also in competitions the Gaming Tribune is sponsoring a non-Star Wars gaming month. You will recieve CF's for any non-SW MP game you play. However MMORPG's do not count. Also there is two writing competitions up and running. The first is a twist on the Infinities SW comic series, and can be a story outside of the SW concept. One of the ideas used is your idea of what would happen if the Justice League faced the Avengers. It can be anything! The other is of epic proportions. Over the next three months you can write a story action and adventure in your DB characters life. It has to be a minimum of 5000 words per story. This is your chance to possibly be involved in DB lore far into the future!

"Gravity still works."

(28 July 2007, Czech Republic) A pack of thieves attempted to steal scrap metal from an abandoned factory in Kladno. Unfortunately for them, they selected the steel girders that supported the factory roof. When the roof supports were dismantled, the roof fell, fatally crushing two thieves and injuring three others.

(21 June 2007, Philippines) Three entrepreneurs planned to profit from stolen scrap metal. They entered a former US military complex and approached the prize: an abandoned water tank. Bedazzled by the potential upside, the three threw logic to the wind, and began to cut the metal legs out from under the tank. Guess where it fell? Straight onto the thieves. Their flattened bodies have not yet been identified.
