Alright, alright...settle down. I know it's been a long time since I've done a report, I've really messed up and I'm sorry. I've failed in my duties for the last 6 to 8 weeks and I really have no excuses to offer for my lack of attention to the House. I could go and whine about RL being a pain or blather on about my job, my wife, my child, etc...but, I won't.

I've failed and I apologize. With that being said, those days are over. Gladius is too important to just sit back and let the House meander along without any guidance, so I'm going to step up to the plate and finally start doing the job I was hired to do. With that in mind, and I will make this in bold for those who skim, this report is functioning as an AWOL check. If you want to stay in Gladius I must have a reply from you by Friday, no reply and I bounce you. That goes for everyone in the House, from the Summit on down. If you don't reply I'm tossing you, it's that simple. It's time we got this House back into fighting shape, and the first step in that process is to cull the dead-weight and trim the fat. I know it may sound a little hypocritical of me to say if you don't respond I'll bounce you considering how long I've been silent, but such is the way of things.  



Now that we have that out of the way, let's move into some business. I don't really have a lot to talk about, as I said I've not really paid a lot of attention to the DJB lately, but there are a few items of great importance that must be addressed. First off, Cestus is reopening, if you want to go try it on for size let me know and I'll start the process on your behalf. Secondly, and related to Cestus opening, Kazarelth is moving to Cestus to serve as their Aedile. That leaves the position of Team Leader open for the Praxeum. If you're interested shoot me a line, be sure to CC Frosty on it as well. I'll go over all the applications over the next week or two and possibly do a few interviews to select someone for the position.  



Over the last few weeks a few members have gotten medals and promotions, but I'm afraid I don't have the information on them handy. If you've gotten noticed in the last few weeks and received an award or promotion then I offer a big congratulations to you. Over the coming weeks I'm going to be evaluating every member of Gladius and looking at their activity, so you can expect to see more awards coming down the pipeline shortly.  



Finally, I'm still open to any ideas you guys have for competitions or House activities. I'm here to serve you guys, not dictate policy to you. If there's something you'd like to do or new directions you'd like to see Gladius move into, by all means shoot me a line and we'll discuss things. I'm open to any ideas, suggestions, or comments you guys might have.  



That's about all I have this week, but next week I will have a better report. I'll have some statistics and such so I can actually call out the people who've done well and tell everyone how great they are.
