The Orian Invasion has now come to a close and we are still seeing shineys and awards coming in! Congratulations to all those who participated and a big thank you and appreciation goes out to all of those who worked hard to put this event together and keep it going. Thank you for all your hard work!

Competitions

Our Scary Beauty Contest, if you will, is still ongoing! It's a way to get to know each other better, plus also have a little fun, so please do participate! :D You have one of two options, send everyone on the Battle Team a pic of you sporting your awesome Halloween costume, or if you didn't take any photos or dress up, then write up a description of your ideal costume! Half a page is the maximum. The more scary, freaky and ghoulish descriptions will win! We didn't have a deadline on this one before, but aim to have these submitted between now and next Friday, November 16. ;)

Also, Ashura is heading up the gaming competitions for Marka Ragnos and he's looking for feedback and ideas! If you like gaming and have some suggestions, be sure to check out his thread on the forums.

There are some interesting competitions going on site wide! Below are a list of just a few.

The Saga:  For those of you who enjoy writing, The Fiction Tribune Office is running this competition which lasts over a 3 month period of time. Each month you'll be given a plot to follow. Awards will be given each month for the best submissions, and those who hang in all 3 months to bring their stories into one whole work will have a chance to win the competition overall!

November Gaming Competion: Click me!

Dark Brotherhood: Infinites: Ever wanted to see a battle between the X-Men and the cast of Heroes? Then write it! This writing competition seems like a lot of fun and has limitless possibilities! You can pair off your character vs. one of your favorite comic book or fantasy/sci-fi villains or have some of your favorites fight against each other. It's your story, so you tell the outcome! Closing Remarks

This week has been a busier week than the last! and even though the Orian Invasion has come to a close, there is still plenty of events to participate in and classes to complete. So get out there and do the Night Hawks and House Marka Ragnos proud!

Congratulations also go out to our own Quaestor, Shan Long, for placing 2nd in the Orian Invasion Run-On and to our Rollmaster Sai Na'Ashar Keibatsu and Aedile Ashura Isradia for taking 1st and 3rd place, respectively, Overall in the Orian Invasion! Also, extra congrats are in order to Ashura Isradia for being raised to Sith Battlemaster and to the rank of Knight First Class Envoy! Also, congratulations to all members of Clan Naga Sadow who received a Seal of Loyalty!
