<p>I suppose the biggest news in the House is that DJK Jaysen has resigned as BTL of Dark Fire Brigade. I wish to thank him for his service to the House and I hope he finds more free time. In the mean time we need a new BTL to help the newer members. I sent out an e-mail yesterday detailing the requirements so I won't repeat them here - if you need them again just ask.

<p>Tarax has just started a new "Caption Contest" on the Dinaari subforum. Each round lasts for two weeks so just submit the funniest caption and you just might win a Crescent - this is beyond easy competition participation which is essential for promotion on the lower ranks.

<p>My "Bring Down the Thunder" competition is still running until the end of the month. This applies to the entire Clan and the top five people with the most points (CFs) will earn a corresponding 3rd level crescent. Also, the latest ICTE had another 2 matches - the GE has already wet their pants at their weekly gaming achievements.

<p>Bloodfyre has a DJB-wide competition or two running. Do them if you want but whatever. I think they deal with Magic cards or something like that. Not that big of a deal I guess.

<p>Honestly, not a whole lot else going on. Some ACC thing is still going on (Tal only has Sklib left so wish him luck) and Sarin and company are probably going to push out the new Force powers system in the near future, which is something to look forward to.

<p>Congratulations to Azraelus who got promoted to Protector earlier this week for maintaining good activity. Skylance and Jedirach also showed their worth by getting past their first real hurdle to reach the rank of Novice. Congrats to all!

<p>There's a wealth of stuff going right now if you want to be active - competitions of every kind are running for you to partake in. Thanksgiving is coming up on Thursday so I hope you all enjoy the holiday and take some time off. We'll be here when you get back.
