Dark Greetings Tridens,

Sorry about the late report. Meant to get it out Tuesday, but my essay took longer to write than I thought it would. Anyways, I have a couple new announcements and a few reminders. As well, as some new MSP info so look out for it. Before we begin, let me just say Happy Thanksgiving to all you Yankees in Tridens. I myself am Canadian so I celebrated it right and proper on the real day (and yes I stand by the statement, free feel to challenge me on it if you wish). Anyways, lets get to it.

Important Announcements

AWOLs

Alright, so we dropped a lot of dead weight with the AWOLs. In fact, we dropped a good 26 members worth. Always sad to see that many go, but at least now we have a core group of active and willing members so now we can move onto more important topics.

Raiju's Advancement Policy

Alright, so you've all been hearing me mentioned this in one form or anything. What's the deal? Well, since I've became Envoy I received this nice little feature that allows me to watch the progression rates of people, average time per rank, etc. And while researching it I've noticed a few little stats that I would like to improve upon. A) The average time to DJK and B) The drop out rate of ACOs and PRTs. It seemed surprising to me that so many people were taking so long to even get from PRT to GRD in the time its taken me to get from APP-JH and the number of people that seem to just die in the ACO and PRT ranks. (more ppl quit in these two individual ranks than APP and NOV combined) So I thought I would challenge myself and try to improve on them. What's this mean for you, well my reasoning for the "hump" that seems to develop in the PRT rank is because people aren't connect enough with this clan. SO I want to get them more involved through IRC and the MSP, which gives them direct access to older and stable members of the clan. Meaning, I'll be bugging DJK+'s to be Masters, and working with the journeymen to get them to advance faster and be more connected with us. (note: this doesn't mean im handing out promotions, in fact I can't even promote. I just make my rec's to Arch and Adien and they promote those that have meant the standards). Anyways, I hope that's enough of an explaination. If there's questions or concerns, let me know.

MSP

Well, the summits and I are still trying to set up things officially but I've gotten some great developments so far from the Tridens membership. Several pairings have stepped forward and let me know of their status so we know their students are being looked after and we have some journeymen come forward with requests for mentors. So if you're interested in this program, please remember to drop me a line so we can get things organized.

Competition Forthcoming

Well, I've started to become bored with this post-History month stagnation so I'm gonna be talking with Arch and Adien about running a writing comp or two. Writing is my passion, so you can expect much of this from me in the coming months. Important notice though, as RM/Envoy most of my comps will be directed towards the journeymen of the house as a way to get them involved in the brotherhood, start developing their characters and teach them the basics as well as provide them with opportunities for advancement. If there's interest though, I will open a DJK+ section in these comps.

Leadership Opportunities At this time I would like to direct your attention to the opening leadership opportunities in Tarentum. In Bloodfyre's report he's listed the Gladius Quaestor (and AED im assuming) open for applications. As well, in the next few weeks BF himself will be stepping down as our Consul. Those interested in applying for the position of CON and want some assistance with their applications should feel free to contact BF about this.

Alright guys, thats all for now. In the coming weeks I have a couple exams, and then a few final essays to write so I may not be as available as I have been for 2 weeks starting next monday.
