<p>Finally! For most of us it is the end of the semester and almost time for the holidays and New Years. There's been a small rise in activity lately, especially among the newer members which is always nice to see - eventually down the road the new members must rise up to lead the Clan and continue our dominance. This requires dedication, excellence, and regular activity. Hopefully this consistent activity will continue into the new year.

<p>It is my pleasure to report to you all that the December edition of SHAFT is back! This is Taldryan's premiere event ... Jedi Outcast Capture the Flag (JO CTF). While a match of EPIC CTF has not occurred in a fair amount of time there is momentum for it building. Only a lucky few can even hope to dream of participating in such an elite and EPIC match of the titans. Will YOU be lucky enough to be on IRC to partake in such a prestigious event?

<p>In various other news ... Trev is the new Consul of Clan Naga Sadow ... doesn't mean much except for the fact that CNS might get 4th instead of 5th in the next Vendetta. At this time applications are still being accepted for Consul of Tarentum - Sarin has received three applications so far but you know they can't be very good if he had to post a reminder on the news page. I don't expect any of you to apply since merely being a member of Dinaari is far more prestigious than being CON of another clan.

<p>For this month only the ICTE might actually be worth playing in - the Gaming Tribune, Shadow, has announced that there will be double Clusters of Fire (CFs) for the month of December. This a great opportunity for our newer members to turn light moderate activity into high activity. Also the DJB has an X-Fire guild going ... is it worth joining? Meh.

<p>For our newer members in Dark Fire Brigade, Halcyon has released a new competition for you. It is a graphic (GFX) event where you design and submit a logo for DFB - 5th level crescents are up for grabs. Submit anything for it - competition participation is essential for promotion at the Journeyman ranks.

<p>Starting tomorrow (Sunday) I will be on a temporary Leave of Absence (LoA) - I will be driving home - a long journey - and the drive will take two days. I should have access to my e-mail sometime on Monday afternoon/evening. Please contact Tarax if you have any concerns or questions.

<p>During this past week APPs Vaihana and Dark Atem were removed for lack of contact and inactivity. It still baffles me of why people go through the hassle of joining up this club only to do nothing but get removed, all the while suffering a barrage of e-mails! Seriously ... the early Journeyman promotions take so little work and the more you invest into this Club the more you get out of it! Get on IRC, play some games, participate in a run-on ... that's why we're here.

<p>Quaestor's Final Thoughts

<p>Some of you may have noticed that we had a transfer in from CSP this week - some kid/idiot named Calintz. He was just removed from the Clan a day ago because he apparently was a clone of Bane or Blade or someone - it was suspicious since he knew a lot more than other newbies do and he was quite bossy. Calintz/Bane if you're reading this ... get a God damn life ... I mean how pathetic is your life? For the rest of you ... thank you for not being this big of an idiot/failure in life. Have a great week!

<p>As always, I have to plug getting on IRC. It's no secret that those who get on IRC and talk with their fellow Clan members are far more likely to succeed and get ahead in the club than those who don't get on IRC.
