Jade Serpents Battle Team Report #4 12/19/2007

News

So now we are entering the happy holiday fun time of year! Also, sometimes the most stressful with figuring out presents, dealing with family and all that good fun stuff. For those of you who are in school, I hope your exams went well and if you still have a couple more, good luck!

We still have the Training Run-On up and going and there is still plenty of time for you to jump in! I sent an email out to everyone about that earlier today. I still would like to see a few more participating especially if you have some down time during the holidays. This is a perfect opportunity.

Also, I'm going to do an AWOL Check here soon. We have some active members, but a few I haven't heard a peep from in the last couple of weeks or more.

Competitions

Remember, you can enter any of the competitions listed below! One of the reasons why I haven't created more than one competition this month for the Jade Serpents is because we have quite a few going on, and I want to highly encourage you to participate in competitions that are Clan-wide so you can get to know your Clan members a bit more! We are a Battleteam that is dedicated to our House, but we are also part of a larger Clan. So go show them what the Jade Serpents can do! \o/

Clearing Out The Mine-CNS Fiction Comp: Aeotheran is the main carbon mining planet for the Dlarit Corporation and Clan Naga Sadow, and has small mines all over the planet, staffed by civilian employees who send carbon to Seng Karash for processing. Reports have come in that Mine 21 Alpha has been sending short shipments and holding back raw carbon to sell privately. Click here for more information.

A Picture of Father Sithmas-CNS Graphics Comp: Its nearly Christmas in Clan Naga Sadow, and its the time of year when Father Sithmas delivers presents to all the members who've been evil all year around (we are Dark Jedi afterall) on his sleigh pulled by krayt dragons with presents made by the hard working Sith Ewoks on Kangaras. Faeril Munlear finally earned her saber and was promoted to DJK. Yay!

Closing Remarks

Things have been moving along nicely for the Jade Serpents. I'll be doing an AWOL check, so keep an eye out! I want to make sure that everyone on the Battleteam is staying active. I'd like to wish everyone Happy Holidays! and I look forward to seeing more awards, courses and overall participation from you. A new year is just right around the corner, and I see pretty sabers in some of your futures. ;)
