Rasilvenaira strode through the hangar, checking her own ships out of habit. She still felt the loss of her beloved ship the NyghtFyre. It had been her first ship, and had served her well for many years. However, the gallant ship met its demise during the last stages of the Reclamation of Cocytus as it drove Vong fighters from the system. Fortunately at the time she was in her fighter, the Kanashimu, so the NyghtFyre was piloted by one of her astromechs, R2-G3 which was also lost with the ship.

Now a new ship sat in the primary spot of the Summit hangar, the Raven’s Fury. Sleek and deadly in design, the Fury had yet to see serious combat, and a part of the Battlemaster almost hoped that it never would. However, she knew this would not hold true, which was the very reason she made regular rounds of the compound, checking on things. Always making sure the House would be ready if it was ever called upon, the Quaestor hoped for peace, but was all to familiar with the reality of war.

Behind her, the sound of slow, deliberate metallic footsteps caught her attention. _“Hello, Veritas.” _ Turning around, she greeted the cold, red and black wardroid.

_“Admit it, you’re wishing there were something to kill too.” _

Rasilvenaira chuckled, _“No, I’m not. I’ve seen a great deal of killing though; it is what I’m good at.” _

“Agreed, you are more proficient at it than most of your kind.”

_“Come on, Veritas, you can have the pleasure of trying to blast me while I train tonight, I need the exercise.” _

_“But… oh very well, I suppose the faked attempt to kill you is better than standing around collecting dust. After you, Mistress.” _

The Sith smiled at the cranky droid, and the pair left the hangar for one of the outdoor training yards. Along the way, Veritas exchanged his normal weaponry for non lethal rounds just on the off chance he might actually hit the human.

Yes, I admit, it has been a while since my last report, and I apologize for that. I’ve recently begun a new job, and that has been taking up a great deal of my time, so I am behind on my schedule for some of the House projects I’ve been working on, as well as my regular reports.

*House News: *

Two veteran members have returned to Caliburnus, welcome back Xen and Zeron!!We’ve also got new members joining us, welcome to Tei Ogamari and Kai Ming of the Shadows.

The Order of the Serpent inducted two more extraordinary individuals, DJK Syphoc Rillek Kaeth and SW Corin Kaedin were chosen as the newest Proselytes and join the ranks of the House’s elite team.

Three talented individuals were also awarded with the title of Champions of House Caliburnus for their outstanding participation during the Deadly Deceptions event. Cethgus, Nokkon, and Xathia are our Champions, congrats to the three of them.

In other House news, we have several competitions going so I hope to see all of you get out there and participate. They are fun and easy competitions so great chances to add some shinies to your dossiers. Check out my Featured Competitions section for the complete details.

House Direction:

As the last major clan competition, the Winter Games provides House Caliburnus one last chance at ending 2007 in a blaze of glory. I’d like all of you to get out and participate in as many of the events as possible. Let’s show the Clan that House Caliburnus is a force to be reckoned with, even in play.

Now as we also begin to look forward to the coming year, there will be many chances for you to achieve glory and shinies in the name of our noble House. Take the Brotherhood by storm; let’s lead the Clan in activity, proving that House Caliburnus is the best House of all.

I will be bringing you many unique and challenging competitions as well as keeping you informed of any major Clan or Brotherhood wide event. Together if we each work hard, we can make 2008 the Year of Caliburnus!

*House Plans: *

The major project in the works is our House Facilities project. This huge project involves the detailed description and mapping of our Planet, House Headquarters, and our other facilities such as Dynasty Station and the Alberigo Outpost. I am hoping to have at least a large portion of this project completed by the first of the year. My gratitude to those dedicated members assisting me with this massive undertaking.

Once our Facilities document is complete and our Dominion Document is polished up, I will be adding them to our House website which will also receive a major overhaul and some serious and needed updating.

We will also be doing some major updating and editing of our House related wiki pages, adding some pages, rewriting some others, so that all of the wiki pages are as current and correct as possible.

Unity. It is so very important, and often overlooked as we each focus on our own desires and ambitions. I think it is something we need to remember. This House, and Clan, is made up of a large group of talented and valuable individuals, true enough. But what gives Scholae Palatinae and House Caliburnus our greatest strength is not that we are a group of great people. It is the fact that when things get tough, we pull together and stand together side by side as one united force. That is what makes us strong, and if we allow that to falter, the Clan as a whole will suffer.

Of course, we are always going to be individuals, each with our own goals, preferences, likes, ect. However, in all that we do, we can not lose sight of the one thing that makes Clan Scholae Palatinae the greatest Clan in the Brotherhood. We are family, while we may not always agree with each other, or see eye to eye on things, when it comes down to it, we are still one family and we need to remember that. Treat each other with respect, help each other, and support each other.

Team work is the vital foundation of our House and Clan, and as long as we keep working together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. With that thought in mind, look forward, set your eyes to the horizon and the continued glory of Clan Scholae Palatinae and House Caliburnus, it is within your reach.
