Aedile Report

_The Aedile jumped on to a platform. Then he dove down to the floor. With a sigh of relief, Yzarc Rellik Kaeth sat down. The obstacle course was over. Now it would be time to rest.

However, when the blue-haired Coruscanti entered his office, there was a pile of paperwork. The Dark Jedi Knight groaned. He was dead tired, and close to being unable to move his arms. The obstacle course wore him out. Yawning, the Obelisk took his boots off, getting ready to get some needed sleep. I’ll do this in the morning, after I jump into the refresher, Yzarc thought to himself before drifting off into sleep. _

Woohoo! A report!

What a week! Seriously, this was possibly the craziest week I’ve ever seen as Aedile. Yay for getting through it!

First up, Brent “Archangel” Ligur Victae was named Magistrate to the Herald, congratulations go out to you!

Second, the Deadly Deceptions results are out. The winners are: Xathia dan Locut’hal in third place, Nokkon Wud in second place, and Cethgus Incendia taking the win. Congratulations to you three and good job to all who participated.

Third, the Proselytes, or members of the month, for November and December have been chosen. Congratulate Syphoc Rilkel Kaeth as the Proselyte of Knowledge (November 2007)and Corin Kaedin as the Proselyte of Storms (December 2007). Welcome to the Order of the Serpent!

Fourth, for all of December, the Inter-Club Training Event (ICTE) starts at 12:00 midnight Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday and runs until 11:59 PM EST on Saturday. Double Clusters of Fire (CFs) are being given out!

_Getting Awards does many things for you. They show that you participate. They also show that you excel. Put these two together means that you are an excellent addition to the House, Clan and Brotherhood as a whole. You can get awards for gaming, participating in competitions, or helping out your House and Clan summit.

Zeron – Weapons Basics Exam, Old Republic History Exam, Capital Starship Studies Exam, History of the Sith Empire III.

Passing SA exams is possibly the easiest way to learn new things about the Dark Brotherhood. Passing exams can also get you degrees, which look very, very nice on your dossier.

Members of House Caliburnus, like you all are, reside in the channels of:

• #scholae This is the channel of Clan Scholae Palatinae.

• #caliburnus This is the channel of our House, House Caliburnus.

IRC is extremely important because it exists in real-time, or something you say is read the second you hit enter.

Other channels you should know about are:

• #db This is the channel of the Dark Brotherhood as a whole.

• #dbgaming This is the channel you must be in to game on a normal gaming day.

• #outerrim This is the channel you must be in to game during the Inter-Club Training Event (ICTE)

I hope you all had a good and safe Christmas.

Xathia dan Locut’hal will be hosting a run-on starting late December 31st for those in North or South America/early January 1st for those in Europe and Asia. Participation is wanted. If you do participate, e-mail Xathia ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) or find her on IRC and let her know. Niemand Duda Machweg (or the ghost of =P) would like participants to have taken the run-on course at the Shadow Academy. While I encourage this, we can’t force you to do it.

Just one last thing, Rasilvenaira said in her last report that “Team work is the vital foundation of our House and Clan, and as long as we keep working together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.” Nowhere else have I ever seen something so true. Remember that, and Clan Scholae Palatinae, and especially House Caliburnus, will never fall.
