For the Fourth Day of January of the Two Thousand and Eighth Year of the Final Way, unto the Lords Sarin and Muz Sadow, the Dark Council and Brethren of Clan Naga Sadow:

Greetings,

The prior thirty days or so have been extremely relevatory to me. I have spent a lot of time talking to members, and working out their needs. I have spoken with my Summit, and outlined mutual expectations of responsibility, and succeeded in organizing those same responsibilities into spheres of accountability to best serve the needs of all our members. Already we have begun to see an upswing in medals and awards, although activity across the board is generally low. The Summit of Clan Naga Sadow and its aligned Houses are preparing for our busy season.. which generally starts at the end of this month.

Proconsul:

Shin'ichi has resigned in excellent standing due to a change in his real life. I wish him the best of luck in all his endeavors. He has chosen to remain in the Clan, which pleases me immensely. He's a stalwart Elder of this Clan, and his continued voice will be of great benefit to us.

Competitions:

We are currently investigating the ruins at Kangaras. The story has slumped a bit through our busy holiday weeks, yet I'd like to close it out before the next gaming competition is underway. Check it out at http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=4899

I have tasked Joseem and Anubis to organize a mino gaming competition against another Clan. We are currently in the process of negotiating the details, but I expect it to start in two weeks, and conclude by the beginning of February.

February will also mark the return of the Clan Naga Sadow Artisan's Competition, a traditional event generally held by each Consul when they first take office. The month of February will also mark Clan Naga Sadow History Month, and my intention is to use the Artisan's Competition as a way to bolster our feelings of history and inclusion. We are a proud Clan, with a rich history. The time to celebrate it has arrived.

I am pleased to report that Ylith and Tyren have gone above and beyond within their Phyles to keep consistent levels of competitions running. Starlion and Ylith have organized a series of excellent competitions in their respective Battleteams. Ashura has also kept with schedule, and is currently running a gaming competition. Knighthood Trials

Faeril has completed her trials, congratulations and kudos to her Master, our own Herald: Shikyo.

Tash, Anubis, and Joseem are on the fast-track for their Lightsabers. All three have submitted for their Consul level tasks.

Master Student Program:

I am still in the process of reviewing individual Master/Student pairings to get an idea of who is doing what, and where they stand in their trials. I should have this completed in two weeks, for my next report.

New Members:

I'm quite pleased to see the levels of interaction with our Leadership staff and their speed in welcoming new members, and providing them with information.

Conclusion:

I am quite happy with my thirty-days review. Our leaders have shown me that we are genuinely equipped to rock this Clan out. We have a strong core of up-and-coming members who are sure to become capable Equites and powerful Elders in thier own turn.

Remember, L.A.I.D. Leadership: Accountability, Interaction, Development. These concepts are the key to our success.
