Consul Report #27

Wow. It has been over a month since my last Consul Report, and I apologize greatly for that. December ended being super busy for me, with tons of projects and stuff going on, as well as the holidays. Christmas was good for me, as was for those of you who celebrate it I hope. The best present I got was my iPhone, which I bought for myself, but it was still a few days before the 25th :P

Anyways, happy new year! 2008 is upon us, so let's jump out of this slump that December put us in and start climbing back towards the top. All of the leaders will be releasing reports and competitions in the coming weeks to help get you all caught up on house news, plus get some activity in. Anywho, let's get on with the report! As I said, December was a slow month with the holidays, so mainly there's just basic news and such to report on, but a good read anyways. Mainly this report is just to jumpstart the new year and get things rolling again.

• Congrats to Cipher on her promotion! This is really late, but hey, congratulations anyways!

• As Sarin said in his Grand Master report (which you should all read) the new Force Powers system will be implemented soon. While I haven't seen any of it directly, what I've been told is sweet, and I know that this is going to rock the house.

• The Dark Voice has been suspended for now, which stinks, but at least now everyone will have time to work on other things.

• Some other things in the work within the realm of the Dark Council? A new system for member possessions, an actual use for orders (Sith, Krath, Obelisk), and a gradual redesign of the Brotherhood website all are future projects. That last one, as I said, is gradual, and things like the new news page are all steps in that direction.

• The new and old fleet information was sent to me and Ky a long time ago, and we will be finishing up sticking it all on the Wiki within the next few weeks. Super thanks to Vess for putting it all together. He did an amazing job compiling all the scattered information, and I'm very happy with the end result.

• Callus' Crimson Tide competition kind of died out, although from what he tells Ky and I he will still be running the competitions, so look for news on that if you want to get some nice crescents added to your dossier.

Besides DB gaming and writing, there aren't many competitions running right now, although that will change within the next week or so. What will there be? Well, I know from the clan summit there will be a series of competitions concerning Café di Plagia, so you might want to read the Wiki page on that, to get a head start. As always, complete SA courses and game and do ACC, those things never grow old, heh.
