Phoenix stared out the window into the black of Judecca space. The leader of CSP about-faced in a crisp, fluid movement, making his way to the communications panel.

"XO," spoke the Warlord.

"Yes Emperor," replied the Executive officer.

"Open a channel to the entire system, I wish to speak with my people."

Another year has passed in the Royal Clan, and within that year we have accomplished far more than anyone expected, with more still to come. We have built a sense of fraternity, instilling unity within our ranks to overcome criticisms and adversity from outside the Clan as well as from within. Many have labeled the follwers of Palpatine as "Elitists." It is because of our drive and dedication to our members that others may see as "Elitist." I simply call it friendship and loyalty to those whom we would call "family."

This club was built on fairness and fun, we broke away from a group that held us beneath their boot with their hate, disdain and prejudices. We will defend those rights, because that is why we are here.

A lot of things have happened this year, resignations, appointments, promotions; all building to the greatness of this Clan. Just a recap(taken from RevengeX's QUA report):

* January 2007 - The year looked bright. After completing a very successful House feud, the new leaders of the Clan were excited to see what we could make happen.  

* February 2007 - Our Clan engages Clan Arcona, but we lose an embarrassing, yet hard-fought, battle. Our Clan's leaders take the wisdom acquired from this loss and quickly use it as learning material.  

* March 2007 - After a few weeks of mortal combat, our Clan is awarded second place in the Rite of Supremacy: Second Darkness! We are awarded the title of "Second Clan of the Brotherhood"!  

* May 2007 - Using that success, our Clan launches into the first annual Summer Games, which is a very successful event.  

* May/June 2007 - Houses Acclivis Draco and Caliburnus run their own events, Missio Draconis and the Golden Iris Conflict, respectively.  

* July/August 2007 - Our Clan places second in the Eighth Great Jedi War after many weeks of fighting and inspirational speeches! We maintain our status as the Second Clan of the Brotherhood and we show the other Clans that our placement in the RoS wasn't a one-timer.  

* September 2007 - Massive leadership shifts occur throughout the Clan.  House Dorimad Sol is reopened.  

* October 2007 - House Acclivis Draco engages its siblings, Houses Caliburnus and Dorimad Sol in the "Reclamation of Judecca". After being dead last for four long weeks, HAD wins by a very narrow margin.  

* December 2007 - CSP cools down and the Winter Games begin on the 26th.

Resignations/Appointments:

As many of you have noticed, resident Primarch Koskian d'Tana and Warrior Malevolent Blade were forced to step down due to increase in time needed for RL. In Koskian's stead, Consul Emeritus, Battlelord Dakari Kaeth was appointed to the position of HDS QUA. His long service to the Clan and its different aspects, as well as leading HDS before, made him the perfect candidate for the position. He does great work and will be expecting big things to come from HDS in the future.

Also, Dakari is still looking for an AED, if you are interested and fit the necessary requirements, put in an application to him CC'ing both Lucien and myself.

Ward of the North(Gaming):

The Clan Summit is looking for a dedicated person to take over the reigns of Ward of the North. This position, like the other Ward positions, is a position of guidance to those in the Clan who seek knowledge in any aspect of gaming. You will train people in tactics and strategies of different games, starting of with the basic Jedi Academy game, using the guide started by Cethgus, and revamped and redone by RevengeX.

Paths:

Upon approval by the GM et.al, these will be released to the Clan and each of you will be able to go into deeper character construction and background within the Clan.

Artifacts:

Merit Noble Program:

For those who haven't seen it, we have finally released the long awaited Merit Noble Program. Consul Emeritus Braecen and his team work long and hard on this project to give our active members a bit more reward, one of those added incentives to get out there and be more active.

House Facilities:

QUA's have put forward their drafts for their respective houses and the Clan summit is pouring over the numerous amounts of information and details. This will help you members get a better look at what you have, especially after the Vong invasion of our system.

Battleteams:

QUA's have been revamping their battleteams to try to get fresh faces and activity up, keep a sharp eye for more information from them.

DB Wiki:

As some of you may have noticed, many of the Clans wiki's are being updated heavily. This is to ensure historical and fictional accuracies for the clan to help propel us further down the line. I suggest if you haven't already, please check out the hard work that your fellow clan mates have put into making this Clan great. Also, if you feel you would like to help out in any aspect of the Wiki; whether it be general Wiki work or helping out with the legions and such, get with your QUA's and they will direct you on who to speak to about lending a hand.

Future:

The RoS and GJW will come to us quickly, now we must prepare and come together as a Clan to help ourselves pull ahead. We are by far the more superior Clan, now we must put our resolve to action, become an impenetrable unit, above the pettiness shown by other Clans. You members make this Clan what it is, your activity and perseverance keep us going, keep the faith and stay the course, and we will topple those who think they are above us.
