The Aedile glared and snarled at the House members as he strode in front of them. Their numbers had been massively culled recently, with very few people on parade now when compared with just a few months ago. The Aedile looked on in scorn, contemplating the fact that even with much fewer people in the ranks he still had the same amount of work. Perhaps he should kill a few randomly to make his job easier. Normally those thoughts would be direct at Kalak and Yeldarb, but they now had sabres and could gang up on him. That just wouldn't do.

He stopped in front of them, looking at them in disgust, their stomachs getting fat, their reactions slower and their hangovers worse as the House came through the lull of the holiday period. That just wouldn't do...

Dark dudes and dudettes!

Hope you're all doing well, and following the holiday & festive period you're all contemplating continuing this New Year pushing yourself to your limits within House Acclivis Draco and Clan Scholae Palatinae. Have you set yourself a target rank to attain by next year? How about ACC? I'm pants at that, but this year I hope to get more involved with it and better myself. What is there within the House that you could possibly do better at?

I say in all my emails to new members to the House that I am here to serve, and that is my mantra. I am here to help you all achieve not only all that you want to within HAD, but help you achieve all that you can within HAD and CSP. There's a huge difference. :P

If you have made an HAD/CSP resolution then let me know. I'm here to make sure you get there!

I am currently putting the finishing touches to the as-yet unnamed House competition that will run for the whole of February. The competition will be a mix of long competitions (that will take time to complete), and short "gone-in-60-seconds" events in order to appeal to members at all levels (both skill and rank).

As a teaser for you all, you should read up on the history of Antenora, the planet which HAD calls home. This has been heavily updated by both Impetus (yay for her!) and RevengeX (whoever he is...) over the last few months, so don't assume you know everything.

Membership

Since my last report welcomes go out to Josto Tomil, Maethorir, and Koryn Thraagus. Welcome all to Acclivis Draco! And congrats to Josto and Koryn on their swift promotions to Novice. One of which was faster than Yeldarb's which held the record... 8D

Have a look at the Rosters and you will all see that our numbers are somewhat smaller than the end of last year, following an AWOL check by the Clan Summit. There is another one under way so should you get an email from Phoenix or Juicy Luci then make sure you answer it!

Those cut down numbers mean two things for me. I can concentrate more on those members who are left and need my help, and also I can concentrate more on the various other projects I have to work on, that you don't really care about until they affect you. Wot-evaaah!

What I'm saying is look forward to more harassment from me on an individual basis over the next few months. :P

HAD or CSP

Revvy has had this section within his own report a few times now, asking which way would we go if push came to shove. Having been Consul twice, and seeing that we work a lot better together than we do apart, though still loving this House more than anything, I have wavered about, not knowing what way I would go. I have now decided.

House Acclivis Draco.

There are many things that HAD offers that CSP can never. HAD is, and always has been a true close-knit family. Yeah, we've got cousins and such in Cali and Dorimad Sol, but nothing compares to the friendships I've made within HAD.

Other News-worthy stuff

I don't generally post news in more reports from outside of the House or Clan, but as and when I see anything that specifically affects all of us I'll stick it in. And this is one of those cases.

Aabsdu of Clan Exar Kun has taken over as Headmaster of the Shadow Academy, and while the normal day-to-day stuff of the SA won't change too much there will be more courses and Degrees on offer. Yay! The Society of Envoys is apparently going to go through a major over-haul so it will be interesting to see what he makes of all of that.

Mine and RevengeX's lives should be lives of servitude. We are all now a more defined and stream-lined group, all the fat trimmed from the bones of Acclivis Draco, so your voice is more likely to be heard.
