Members of the Royal Clan,

We are at the end of the first month of January, 2008 and I must say that if the other 11 months go like this one did, we will have a very good year indeed. I only ask that you keep up the good work and apply yourself to new things and new competitions. You never know, you might just end up winning.

So, without further ado and such, here is the meat of the report.

COMPETITIONS

January saw a multitude of Clan Competitions, with the end of the Winter Games of 2007 as well as two graphics competitions from me. The winners are as follows:

Winter Games

First: Yzarc Rellik Kaeth, House Caliburnus

Second: Angelo Dante, House Dorimad Sol

Third: Yeldarb Vohoku, House Acclivis Draco

Congrats to all the winners of all the events. Your medals have been out for some time now, but your Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals are still at the engraver. I expect them back sometime before Monday.

Custom Lightstick Competition

This was a competition I held to see who could follow direction as well as provide me with a suitable replacement for my broken lightsaber (damn chocolate chip cookies). The winner surprised the hell out of me, just because I didn’t know she had it in her.

WAR!Banner Competition

Again, I wanted to see how much information could be gleaned from my pitiful wiki and character history. The winner took my most prized possession and made it into a wonderful symbol for my Warbanner. And, since he’s on the HRLD staff, I know it covers the guidelines.

February Competitions

This month, I have two competitions for you to participate in:

1.Gaming Extravaganza!

The premise is quite simple, the rules not so much. You can find details here:

2.Extreme Makeover, Grand Hall of Ohmen Edition

Both competitions run from 2/1 to 2/29. Gaming scores are submitted using the match reporting tool on the DB site, Fiction entries must be submitted to Phoenix ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]) and myself ([Log in to view e-mail addresses]).

New Member Competitions

During my time as Knight Commander, I drew up the idea for new member competitions. These competitions are quick, easy, painless, and for members ranked Apprentice through Jedi Hunter ONLY! If you are above this rank, don’t even think about submitting because you’ll be summarily laughed at for not following directions.

I will be the backup Judge for these events, with Kalak being the primary. Please read all the details, as very important submission information is in there. Failure to follow the competition requirements will cause you to be disqualified, so don’t do that.

11.Artifacts of CSP (RevengeX, Tra’an, Anga, Kara, Phoenix)

12.Promotional guidelines revisit (Lucien, Phoenix, new KCE)

13.Active Master/Student Program integrated into the new website (Lucien)

14.Graphics for the Legions of Scholae including uniforms, armor, and weapons. (Lucien, and I am conscripting Robin Hawk into the project. Thanks for your volunteering Robin. :P)

Conclusion

Such completes another PCON report for CSP. In the next report, I’ll actually have an update on the different projects and projected completion dates.
