Yes, I know this is a little on the long side, but of course it's an important read. Top of the priority list tonight for me is to encourage all of you Galereans to take part in the Feud that is starting TOMORROW!!!! - 12:00 Midnight, Friday! This is a huge 5 week Feud and we have to put our best foot forward to kill House Qel-Droma. They have a lot of good active members, but SO DO WE! And I know we can we can do this! Project: FUSION

The next piece of news that is an important one for all of Arcona is the new Project: Fusion. This is an extension of the Master Student Program that already exists and is available for us. Although, the problem we have in both Houses is that we don't have enough people who are willing to be Masters and take on Apprentices. With that being the reality we face myself and Anubis have taken the liberty (with Summit approval, of course) to develop this project.

If you are a Guardian or a Jedi Hunter you will be given the opportunity to take on an Apprentice (a new member) who comes into our clan (when there are no Master's available) and you will be there advisors. You will act LIKE a Master to them, helping them get to the Rank of Protector to help them be active and to have much fun and to be that #1 person they can contact with any questions they have for you. Below you will find a few snippets from the document that was created. It pertains to the objectives of this project and to the responsibilities of the Advisor / Advisee relationship.

Objectives of Project: FUSION:

1. To combat the waning interest in our Clan and in our Brotherhood overall by the new Initiates and Apprentices who enter and leave without any desire to complete their training.

2. This new initiative is geared to work hand in hand with the Shadow Oath.

3. This project will, in effect, reduce the number of Shadow Oath Offenders by making sure that the new members reach the desired rank and keep striving for further advancement even after they have reached the rank of Protector.

4. To make a very strong recommendation to all the Guardians and Jedi Hunters in Clan Arcona in each House take on an Advisee when one becomes available for them.

5. To make a very strong recommendation to the new members that if we can not find a Master for them, that they be assigned a willing Journeyman Advisor to help them reach the Rank of Protector.

6. To bring up the retention rate way beyond what it currently is so that we can PWN as a

Clan.... even though we already do.

The Advisor / Advisee responsibilities to each other are as follows, but not limited to and subject to amendment and revision when needed:

1. The Advisor will keep in touch with their Advisee on a twice a week basis to make sure that the new member is staying active and doing the things they need to get done in order to reach the rank of Protector.

2. The Advisor is to be very specific about the Advisee's responsibilities and Arcona's Promotional guidelines and which ones they should do in order to advance.

3. The new member (Advisee) will keep in touch with their Advisor on a twice a week basis in order to establish good communication and diminishing the risk of becoming a Shadow Oath offender.

4. The new member (Advisee) will report any and all completed task that are assigned to them by their Advisor to their Advisor and the Clan Envoy and their House Envoy or their House Summit in order to ensure that their promotions don't get overlooked.

5. The new member (Advisee) will report any and all extra completed task that are outside the promotional guidelines to their Advisor and the Clan Envoy and House Envoy or their House Summit because they could get credit towards their next promotion for

these activities as well.
