Hi everyone! It is pretty cold outside right now. The wind chill is in the negatives again. I do have some really important personal news to share. I am pregnant :) A little sooner than I had expected but so far everything is looking normal. That would explain why I've been so tired and sick all the time. More details below.
News
Everyone welcome Ronovi Tavisaen to the House! Ronovi comes as a transfer from Tridens so make her feel welcome!
The Clan competition is going strong. The run-on seems to be going into its final leg and that means the other events will be wrapping up soon. Be sure to get in on the action before its too late.
An opportunity within Gladius has opened up. Well two to be exact. With no word from Martumal in several weeks now I am forced to seek out a new Envoy and a new RM. Typically these two jobs would be kept together but I have decided to offer them separately. So if you are interested in getting some leadership experience apply for the Roll Master position. If you'd like to work with our new members and get them acquainted with the goings on of the club apply for House Envoy. I'll take all applications through the 16th. In your application tell Deatharoc and myself what position you'd like, why you'd like to be in that position, and what you'll bring to the table or would hope to learn from it.
With my growing pregnancy I am forced to start looking into retirement. This won't happen for several months but I wanted to make it clear now. Unless something happens, Deatharoc will take over and the position of AED will open up. If you think you might be interested in that I suggest applying for one of the other open positions now :) Depending on current situations I'll be retiring towards the beginning of April. I am hoping to finish up one last project before then.
I try to be online is in the evenings about 3:30 pm EST off and on through about 9 pm. I run AIM (telonam) and MSN ( [Log in to view e-mail addresses]) if you are interested in chatting. As always the best way to get with me is through email ( [Log in to view e-mail addresses])

Here's some competitions that are out you can all take part in. I highly recommend you also CC Deatharoc and myself when you do submit. Funny, Strange, and Amazing
I've got a freshwater tank with your usual stuff, fish, fake plants, and equipment. I also have a couple of unusual things in my tank. They are called Ghost Shrimp. Kinda hard to see but an enjoyment when you can spot them. All of them are clear with the exception of one. This one must be the genetic outcast because it is entirely colored. It wasn't always colored though. As it grew and shed its outer shell it developed these multicolored patches. It was a cool process to watch and I'll be sad when it ends its life cycle. They only last about a year but they are really cheap so replacing them isn't hard on the wallet so long as you acclimate them correctly. I highly suggest these little guys for any freshwater tank with peaceful fish. Otherwise they make for a good snack for other tank buddies. If you'd like to know more and how to acclimate them just toss me an email :)
