Quaestor Report #9
Dark Greetings House Marka Ragnos,
Before we get going I would like to congratulate Zaxen Dauketrenal in becoming last months (first ever) House Champion of Marka Ragnos, as well as Dark Librarian (March 2008). Zaxen is now part of the Council (the fictional version of the House Summit) for the Disciples of Ragnos. Time will tell how this fictional position will affect his character due to the immense knowledge available to the Dark Librarian in the Disciples Achieve.
March House Champion?
The search for a new House Champion for March has begun; remember activity is the key along with House interaction. Keep CCing Faeril and I on all competitions so we know you are active
March House Champion will be selected at the end of the month and will replace Zaxen as Dark Librarian for April 2008.

HMR members begin at the bottom and have to earn Activity Points, when the reach Vizier then they can choose which of the three paths of the Dark Doctrine to follow. Each part represents a different aspect of the doctrine... that has yet to be developed; currently looking for feedback on the names of these lesser titles. I would like to thank Tritherus, Zaxen, Vorion, Zaroth, Jade, Xander and Devani for all pitching in, coming up with names and discussing them on the Disciples IRC channel.
House Development 3.0 The Three Paths, Point System and Scions of Ragnos
The Three Paths
While the above names and I started discussing the names for the lesser titles, we also brought in the concept of three different paths for HMR members to choose from; to allow variety and development of the Disciples and its members.
The basic concept is this; just what is the dark doctrine of the Sith Lord Marka Ragnos. To simply put, the dark doctrine is either one of the last remaining Epistle of Marka Ragnos, or a version of it written by the original Disciples of the Sith Lord after his death How does this help us?
There is currently something similar already in use in the Dark Brotherhood; the Chronicle of Dark Souls.
_Marked of the Wanderer
From DJBWiki
Chronicle of Dark Souls: The compilation of Dark Side wisdom assembled by the Krath Scholar, Trevarus Caerick. It is divided into three books: The Book of Memories, the Book of Wisdom, and the Book of Twilight._
Now, to invoke logic (and my idea) House history states that the Disciples of Ragnos predate the creation of the House. The dark doctrine could have been where Trev got his initial idea to create his Epistle which is why he is Dark Primus; everyone has got to start somewhere, right?
This is something I am going to talk over with our Consul, and after selection of the lesser titles names has been finished; we will start focusing on just what the three paths follow. My ideas would be to base it on Mind, Body and Spirit, but you all may have better ideas.
Point System
As mentioned in my last report, the point system being planned was based on the one used by Tron Sadow back during his time as Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos. However, I got talking with Tritherus on the Disciples IRC channel and said he had some ideas on improving the system; as you should all know by now I am all for members taking an active interest.
Allow me to present to you the first draft of our House point system,
_Disciples of Ragnos Point System by Protector Tritherus
The points system will reward members of House Marka Ragnos for activity at all levels of the Dark Brotherhood, and influence their standing within the Disciples of Ragnos. The more participation, the more points, the cooler your title and greater your respect. The individual who accumulates the most points in any give month will be named House Champion/Dark Librarian. Your points hold over to determine your rank among the Disciples, but start at 0 each month to determine House Champion.

I did update the bottom bit to reflect the new titles names, as Tritherus completed this while the discussion was going on about what names to use. The one thing I did notice was that Cluster of Fires and ACC was excluded from this should they be added or not? Feedback?
Scions of Ragnos
This is still in the development stage, but Tritherus has come up with one idea, which I shall share with you all here.
Every month the Council shall hold a vote to determine who among the Disciples has shown exemplary work over a long period of time. Whoever the Council chooses for this honor shall take a seat among the Scions of Ragnos, the advisory council to the main Council, as well as mentors to the Disciples at large. The recipient must hold the bare minimum rank of Vizier of the Dark Doctrine. No Councilor shall sit among the Scions.
I like this idea; although I would change the last part from Vizier to Dremora/Keeper/Defender, as atleast this way (fictionally) the Scions would be assembled from the Three Paths talked about earlier. Lets have your feedback and ideas.
Unpaired Students
These Journeymen are currently not paired Now is a chance for all Dark Jedi Knights and above to take on the role a Master and tutor one (or two) of these hopefuls to Knighthood.
