CLAN NEWS:

1) The war between Houses Dorimad Sol and Caliburnus has ended with House Dorimad Sol emerging victorious! The three MVPs, OT Angelo Dante, OT Prajna Berkana, and OT Cethgus Incendia, were awarded the titles of Gladiator, Defender, and Duelist of Scholae, respectively, for their exemplary activity. Congrats!

2) Elad Cirith of House Caliburnus has been appointed Sith Commander of Nightshade Squadron. Congrats!

6) House Dorimad Sol has released her "Member of the Month" program under the guidance of Quaestor Thran Occasus. Similar to how House Caliburnus has "Proselytes," Dorimad Sol has "Provosts." Congratulations to Robin Hawk, Angelo Dante, and Cethgus Incendia!

7) Quaestor of House Caliburnus, Rasilvenaira Kaeth StormRaven, has been promoted to Sith Battlelord! Congrats, Ras!

8) Ward of the West, House Acclivis Draco's own Timbal, has released a report. Go participate in his training run-ons. Since the Dark Ages, Clan Scholae Palatinae has always had a knack for run-ons, and we have to ensure our excellence in this difficult event.

HOUSE NEWS:

1) Most important House news: our House's Aedile has been chosen. Congratulations to Obelisk Prelate Exodius on being selected out of a pool of very fine applicants! This decision was very difficult, but I know that he won't let me down.

2) Congrats to Kara on her Dark Cross! Her initial two weeks as Battleteam Leader were very impressive; she showed a lot of initiative, creativity, and took her job very seriously.

3) Two newcomers to the House, Balthezar and Syroch, have exploded into activity and have already been promoted twice to reach the rank of Acolyte in less than one week. Welcome, congrats, and keep up the great work!

4) I sent an email over the House mailing list yesterday that talked about all the competitions available to you folks. Take advantage of these opportunities! Not only do you have a chance at expanding your medal collection, but you show your House Summit that you are active and interested in continuing and advancing in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

5) Congrats to the two winners of the "Tallio, hoix, hark, forward!" competition: Kara and Anga, who earned first and second place, respectively. This competition was run by GRD Korroth Karn.

HOUSE DIRECTION:

These past few weeks have been a very influential eye-opener for me.

Despite the unfortunate turn of events that followed Cooch's resignation from Aedile, most of stayed strong and House Acclivis Draco stayed cohesive. With the war between Houses Caliburnus and Dorimad Sol going on, I am sure that many of you were bored. I apologize. If everything had gone as planned, we would have been having our own awesome event at the same time.

I realized that boredom is something that I, as one of your leaders, must try to prevent. But, I can only do this with your cooperation. I need your ideas, your activity, and you to make sure that House Acclivis Draco stays strong and active.

When the surge of applications for Aedile flooded my inbox, I perused each one. I realized that everyone had a different perception of the current House Acclivis Draco, and everyone had a different vision for our House.

But there is one thing to remember:

We are House Acclivis Draco. House Acclivis Draco is a part of Clan Scholae Palatinae.

Looking past the usual sibling rivalry, we must remember that we shall stand firm as a single unit in all vendettas, such as the Great Jedi War.

Next point... I really need to work on my communication during the "slump months" (the period between major vendettas). Activity over the House mailing list has dropped dramatically (http://groups.google.com/group/AcclivisDraco/about), and I feel partly responsible for this because I have barely been in contact. I suppose that I have been leaving this duty to your Battleteam Leaders and Clan Summit, but I think that it's time that I should take back some responsibility. (Summary: I'm going to spam your inboxes more.)

Communication between the two planes is crucial to our success and growth.
