House Dorimad Sol Quaestor Report

<font color="#808080"><b>House Dorimad Sol, </b>

_ Quaestor Thran Occasus took three steps off of the loading ramp of his Corellian made YT-2400. He had placed a bet that he would make it five steps before someone realized he returned. Fortunately he placed that bet against himself, nullifying any losses he may incur. Cethgus and Tash stood at attention, waiting for the Sith Battlelord to acknowledge their presence. He didn’t know how, but they had figured out when he was scheduled to return.

Cethgus had probably stood there staring into the sky until Thran returned. Tash, who knew. Cethgus, as always, was the first to speak.

“Thran?” the Zabrak inquired.

Occasus said nothing, he kept walking. Cethgus blabbered about every single thing that had transpired while the Quaestor was on vacation. With temperance in mind, Thran kept silent until he reached his quarters. The door slid open and closed as he passed through it, leaving Cethgus in the corridor talking to himself. Tash turned to Cethgus with a strange look on his face.

“I don’t think he is listening anymore, Cethgus...” the Jedi Hunter remarked.

The pair stood in the hallway, baffled. As they turned to leave, Thran emerged from the comfort of his room. Cethgus became suddenly became alert, as if he was privy to what was going to happen next. Occasus draped his cloak over his shoulders and walked towards his office, motioning the pair Dark Jedi to follow.

They entered the plain looking offices and the Sith took his seat at the ornately decorated desk. He immediately took the microphone for the intercom system and held it to his mouth. His words were clean, crisp, and specifically chosen.

“Followers of the Sun,” He began.

“I would like to begin by extending the firmest congratulations to every member of this House. The recent hostilities between House Caliburnus and our beloved Dorimad Sol have ended in a victory. Some claim it is individual achievement that won this conflict for us, to that I say Nay. House Dorimad Sol has something that shines over the rest of this infernal Brotherhood of Dark Jedi. By far and away, you are the most dedicated and devout Sith, Obelisk, and Krath I have ever had the pleasure to work for.” Occasus had a planned out an entire speech and began it with flattery. It was, after all, the best way to get someone to listen to what you have to say.

“The legions of Caliburnus had the upper-hand, but they discredited us. On the other hand, You, my brilliant children, stood firm in the face of danger and took the day. I will use a history lesson to illustrate a point, if you will just bear with me. 5 years ago, House Caliburnus destroyed House Dorimad Sol. In the wake of that destruction the legend and power of Dorimad Sol have been lost. Since that time, we, ourselves, have been lost in the recesses of space. On our return, we claimed victory over our destroyers and returned to the spotlight in a glorious fury. Vindicated by the ever-sweet taste of victory, we must now turn our sights. For those of you that have been around the Brotherhood long enough, you surely know the destruction that Clan Taldryan has been wreaking on our dearly loved Scholae Palatinae. Clan Taldryan has been sending the other clans to the depths of darkness for a great deal of time now. However, I tell you this…Clan Taldryan has yet to square off against the wrath and fury of House Dorimad Sol. Together, with our Brothers and Sisters of House Caliburnus and House Acclivis Draco we will ensure that death rains upon all of the kr’Tal System! Ladies and Gentlemen of House Dorimad Sol…Together we are indestructible! I commend every last one of you for your efforts in ousting House Caliburnus, but they are but a side note in what will be the in the history of House Dorimad Sol. Prepare yourselves. Dorimad Sol is the first to battle and the last to leave. I tell you this, WHEN Clan Scholae Palatinae defeats Clan Talydran it will be at the hands of this Mighty and Great House. WE ARE DORIMAD SOL!” Thran roared into the microphone.

Cethgus sat up in his chair, as did Tash. Thran had hooked them. They were ready to die for the House, they were ready to die for the Clan, but above all they were ready to live in order to fight. Occasus had done his job and judging by their reaction he had tamed the unrest which festered in his House.

“I leave you with the following words… I am sure Prajna will be outraged with what I have to say…but…Frack him. Lead by example. Dedicate yourselves to perfection. Dedicate yourselves to dominance. Perfection is Dedication. Dedication is Dominance. Dominance is Dorimad Sol. Good luck and good night.” Occasus said, flipping the microphone shut.

He turned to Cethgus and raised an eyebrow. Still shocked by the speech, Cethgus said nothing. Tash looked like something had climbed inside of him and was ready to explode at any moment. Thran got the reaction he wanted.

Staring Cethgus Incendia in the eyes, he said with a calm composure. “You were saying?”

Someone somewhere thought that it might be a good idea to let Protector be the rank where Dark Jedi earn the right to carry a lightsaber. So…all of you Journeymen who have yet to reach protector, now you have something to reach for! Give it your best!

<b> The Castle of Dorimad Sol: </b> Ok, I have been working on this for a long time now but, I hope to get this all finished up soon. I’ve got lots of ideas and lots of plans for it. If you have seen HAD and HC’s facility stuff, you know it is a daunting task. Once I get all the groundwork laid out in sketches, I will be looking for some GFX masters to help me but the cherry on the sundae.

<b> Battleteams: </b> I am a firm believer in the importance of battleteams. HOWEVER…We need to see some more activity before I commit to any new Battleteams. If you are interested in joining a battle team, Contact me! I can do that NO PROBLEM!

<b> Your ideas: </b> I like hearing what you guys have to say! It lets me know that you are active in what is going on around the house. However…If you have an idea you would like to see implemented within Dorimad Sol, PLEEEEEASE…Send me an email. Don’t catch me on IRC and blabber about what you were thinking because frankly I won’t remember what you said.

<b> My ideas for the House: </b> I’ve got a few things rumbling around up there, but I haven’t settled on any yet.

<b> The Menagerie: </b> Ok…so I have been working on this for some time now and have had all sorts of green lights…Until out of nowhere I got a stoplight from Muz. Normally I would run the red light, but he is a DJM, thus he has Force Lightning. Needless to say, It made me reconsider. So I don’t really know what is going to happen in that department until things have settled in on the Brotherhood level. Lots of changes are coming, so…I don’t know what to expect really.

<b> The Independence Games: </b> For those of you who don’t know, the IGs are a brotherhood wide event commemorating the Exodus from the EH. They are coming up in April, so y’all better get ready!!!
