Woohoo! A report!

Lots of stuff happened this week. First, the Knights Society of Envoys has been shut down, as such, we have a Rollmaster. If you haven’t already, congratulate Q’win for his appointment to Rollmaster.

Also, for Protectors, Guardians, and Jedi Hunters, you now have the ability to get a real lightsaber from the Brotherhood’s armory. Click on the “Lightsaber Creation Tool” on your dossier to open up the options for you.

Kraval Novir, the Master at Arms (MAA) has stepped down. If you are of the rank of Equite 1 (Sith Warrior, Obelisk Templar, or Krath Priest) or above and want the MAA job, apply!

As I’m sure you’ve heard, you should all start gearing up for the Independence Games. Look for more information about these soon. They should be sometime in April.

Continue to participate and fill in vacant holes.

Also, every time the Deputy Grandmaster (DGM) or Grandmaster (GM) report, they leak out another bit of information about upcoming changes to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole. I highly suggest you take the time to read these, and all other reports.

_Getting Awards does many things for you. They show that you participate. They also show that you excel. Put these two together means that you are an excellent addition to the House, Clan and Brotherhood as a whole. You can get awards for gaming, participating in competitions, or helping out your House and Clan summit. Just for your information, I put the awards for each person in order of importance (in my mind).

Internet Relay Chat, or IRC is one of the Brotherhood’s main forms of communication. It is not hard to set up, and you can follow the easy guide to do so ( http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/dbjedi/irc_guide.asp)

Members of House Caliburnus, like you all are, reside in the channels of:

• #scholae This is the channel of Clan Scholae Palatinae.

• #caliburnus This is the channel of our House, House Caliburnus.

IRC is extremely important because it exists in real-time, or something you say is read the second you hit enter.

Other channels you should know about are:

• #db This is the channel of the Dark Brotherhood as a whole.

• #dbgaming This is the channel you must be in to game on a normal gaming day.

• #outerrim This is the channel you must be in to game during the Inter-Club Training Event (ICTE)

Go and participate in competitions, they’re good fun, and can net you a shiney.

Now, I’m going to be saying this for a few weeks, but, we’ve lost a lot of members recently who were helping to hold this House up. What I’m asking you all to do is to become more active. Participation is a good thing, both for yourself and for the House and Clan. People who sit around and do nothing end up staying in the same rank until they can pick up their participation. I’m asking everyone in the House, myself included, to pick up and do as much as we can (If something gets in the way, that’s ok, and why there’s more than one week in a year :P).

Also, If you have a problem with someone in the Clan (or the Brotherhood, for that matter), be it a personal problem, Master-Student problem, or anything else, bring it to a leader. If it is a problem with a Master or a Student, bring it to Q’win, Ras, Myself, and Lucien.
