Tridens Quaestor Report

Greetings Tridens,

Happy St. Patty's Day! I know some of you will argue it's "Paddy's", but fuck ye you're most likely not Irish anyways so what do I care? :P

Anyways, it's been a month since my house address and a week or so more than that since I've became Quaestor. I like to think I've done well so far. Other than pissing off the Taliban and gaming community, telling a few others where they can go, and managing to continue my social life; I think I've done some production things in my time. We have a complete summit, whom improving themselves daily. We have better communications now with the mailing list cleared up, reports coming out regularly, and more members becoming involved in further the house by expressing their ideas to me. We've cleaned up the roster, identified the active members, and are still working daily on rewarding them for their activity. Projects are progressing despite several roadblocks, and numerous members are approaching the rank of Knighthood. All in all, I think we've done well. But there are a few things I've noticed that we have fallen short on. Competitions largely being the main thing. But expect this to change within the next few days. So despite it being rougly a month's time since taking this position I fell we've grow as a unit which is the overall goal of mine. So I would like to thank all of those who have helped out in the past month, and those that have gone beyond their duty will be getting something in return in the coming days.

Anyways, as for this report as always I have some updates on the projects, some announcements, and even a new project for the house that is soon to be released so feel free to check it all out:

News

MAA Open to Applications: As you might have seen, Krav has stepped down. I'm actually torn between this event, while I think Krav is a decent guy I like the fact that this leaves room for some new progression on some MAA policies so I'm looking forward to the new MAA, whoever they may be. Check the news page for requirements if you're interested. Those that I think should apply, I have told so do it :P

PRTs and Above get lightsabers I've bitched about this before, and I'm glad its changed (though, I know it wasn't from my bitching). Enjoy your lightsabers journeymen, if you have problems accessing one let me know please and I'll help ya.

Clan Hall Policy CM Sharad has changed the Clan hall policy, now only battles requested to be judge will be so don't sit there any wait if you haven't had you clan hall battle judged. Email Sharad, and politely ask him to have it judged.

Telona is looking for Graphics If you wanna earn a merit award, please email Telona and get the details on what she wants done. From my knowledge, she wants space pictures, symbols, and possibly a banner so keep that in mind if you want to do this.

Tridens AED is on a LoA: As you might have noticed with the lack of report on friday, Seph is currently LoA right now. He is experiencing internet problems and working on getting it back. AED report will be out when he gets back.

JH Dock is starting his Trials to Knighthood Tonight I'll be releasing the fictional aspect of this announcement after which Dock will begin his first trial to knighthood. Please cheer him on and give him your best wishes.

Welcome Nyu-shin: Just a reminder about our newest recruit, Nyu-Shin. Please welcome him, and if you see him on IRC take the time to say hi.

Chronicles Update: You have till Wednesday night to submit to this round for the Chronicles.

Project Updates

Recruitment: Well, if you have seen the calendar that was posted in the private clan channel then you would have noticed some due dates for this project have been added. Seph is still heading up this project with Dock helping, and from what I've heard their gradually making their way through the rogue section. Soon we will be moving to resources outside the brotherhood. For those interested in helping please let me know. Not only will you get rewarded for helping, but you will also get SI for every person you recruit that makes it to ACO.

Tridens Chronicles: So the Chronicles launched last week with a fictional development on the summit appointments, our house recovering from the Hutt attack, and a few events that left open questions on tensions in the house and what the clan summit has planned for Tridens. Szordryn got special mention for his excellent work in the clan competition. This will continue to happen as we try to highlight the members of Tridens, including the ones to contribute to the Chronicles. A hint on what happens next: project X and a split of sorts?

Tridens Wiki Page: So I have been heading his project up myself with some help from Rekio. While you may have seen some past minor updates to the page, I'm gonna start making major updates every so often. Again, on the house calendar you will see the dates scheduled for major updates to the page. Already I am half way completed on the DB history of the House, once I get that I can write the fictional side from it with some help from the fictional development project.

Story Arcs/Fictional Development: With some recent developments elsewhere, the fictional development project has paused for now. Right now our main focus with this is defining our role in the clan. However, with recent progressions in the clan we have discussed some different paths we will take with other projects for the story arcs, which you will see play out in the next chronicles update.

New Projects

Project X: At this moment I'm still working out some of the details with the rest of the summit on how this will progress and what requirements they will have from it. Once that is done I can release the full outline of this project and how it will impact you. For now though, here's a brief overview:

"Project X" is a new project I have announced to the house summit I will be undertaking. Developed by Doni and Rekio, this project is an attempt to better handle the administrative duties each summit member has in a more effective way leaving time to be more of a "leader" than an "administrator". While most noticeably this project will most impact the summit, the project as been expanded on by myself to fill the desires of Anshar to reintroduce BTs for the house. Named project X after Rekio's relation of it to the X-men unit, this project will not only develop more effective management skills, but also has been modelled to better expand on our overall goals for unity.

Once the summit has come to terms with the project, I will be releasing it in steps. Unfortunately, this means it will be paused until Seph gets back.

Conclusion
