The Aedile had taken a few days off to follow the trails of some rumors that had reached his ears recently. A fellow by the name of Toros Biask had been seen on a planet in the Invasion Corridor, following the wide swath of destruction wrecked by the Yuuzhan Vong, stirring up trouble and a couple cases, ill fated rebellions. The Rumors had turned out to be nothing more than bunk, and within a few days, Vodo had returned to his office and resumed duties.

Much had happened in his absence however. Word had reached him of Shadow Taldrya’s elevation to the rank of Dark Jedi Master. In addition, several members had been recognized for their efforts in promoting the House through their work to the brotherhood.

Times were looking up as the warm winter of Taruma slowly melded back into the sweltering hot summer.
