-> <- <p> So yeah, about a week ago, I had to escort some flyers (the bloody printer took three times longer than they promised) to Indianapolis. It was only about four hours away. Anyway, since we were there, Ashia and I hung out, got our books signed, and handed out flyers. And we also presented Troy Denning with a letter from Sarin and a framed certificate naming him as an official 'Friend of the Brotherhood.'

The certificate reads (since so many people asked): "For his restless contributions to the Star Wars expanded universe, as well as his work in chronicling the history of the One Sith Order on Korriban in the Legacy of the Force series of novels, it is our honour to declrae that Troy Denning is hereby recognized as a friend of the Brotherhood. Signed and sealed on this day, the fifteenth of May, 2008." And we signed it.

But yeah, Troy is a very cool guy, and was very happy to talk with us for a short while about the club, much to the chagrin of the poor sods behind us in line. (as to the club being focused on the dark side: "well, that's cool, I tend to lean that way myself.")

On a personal note, i discovered that if i'm at an event where there are people dressed up as jedi, people will assume I'm dressed up if I'm in my long coat. Weird. :P

-> <- <p> Independence Games are over! And being graded as we speak. But look here, i'm going to let you guys see the seal that we're handing out for this one.

-> <- <p> This is a rare thing. I'm going to give a very blurry distance shot of one of the things i have been working on. They're not anywhere near done, but you can get an idea of what i'm working on. It's actually a screenshot from my working program, so there's no fancy textures or nice contrasting backgrounds to make it pop yet. But you're seeing what i am working on months before it actually launches.

-> <- <p> In this day and age, everyone's likely been bored enough to take one of those 'personality quiz' things... where it asks you questions and classifies you into some kind of cartoon/comic/movie character. Well, we've been looking into doing something like this for some time for the new guys who join the club, to helpp them determine which Order (sith, Obelisk or Krath) they should join. Well, I finally sorted out the code and you guiys can try it out. A caveat, though... this works on stereotypes, so those of us who have expanded our characters beyone stereotypes may get results not akin to what they actually identify with.

I think that this is one of the more famous stormtrooper chicks. IIRC, i saw her at dragoncon. Anyway, FDA hot SW chick dietary requirement fulfilled. </p><p> </p> <-
