Greetings Gladius!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm glad Summer is finally here. It's been a long time coming it seems. With Summer comes the summer breaks many of you have from school which also frees up a lot of time. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you more active in the next few months. There aren't going to be a lack of things to do either. I will be having a House Comp come up soon and there is going to be another Clan wide comp coming out soon. Not to mention other DB wide smaller comps that are already going on.

Our first order of business is one that I've been putting off for a little while because the decision was just too hard to make quickly. So I had to think about it and look at it from every angle. Finally, with some input from others in the clan, I have finally come to the decision to fill our own AED position. I had three people apply, all of whom are well qualified and all of whom I know would do a good job. But ultimately the decision had to be made to choose but one.

So without any further hesitation.. (thankfully) JH Dralin, please step forward and claim the title of Aedile of House Gladius, you've earned it. Congrats AED Dralin!

To all those who applied, thank you so much for your application and interest in helping to lead Gladius into the future. As I said before, this has been a very hard decision to make and I did not make it lightly. I will need your help in the future as role models for the younger and/or lower ranked members of our house. So please, continue to be active and continue to do the things you've been doing to improve our house.

Since we have our AED position filled, I started taking a look at the RM position. With that I've had two applicants already. After reviewing them both, I have made my decision. Please congratulate PRT Scion Altera to the position of RM of House Gladius! I'm sure he will do an excellent job. :)

Now, as you may of heard last week or the week before.. I have a quote of the week comp that continues for a year thus far. Its a chance to earn easy medals so make sure you participate. PRT Ronovi has drawn first blood in this comp. Can she continue? Details about that are below.

That about wraps up this report. Various info is listed below so please take the time to read them to get a good feel for what's going on in the world.
