Breaking news:

I'll be stepping down as AED at the end of the month to give you whippersnappers a chance at the job. I have no aspirations to become QUA or higher, as I've done that already. :) I took the job to help Faeril get settled in, and she's done a fantastic job. However, I will stick around and help the new Aedile out as much as possible.

Mad mac's Dueling comp:

Promotions:

There may be some big and well-deserved ones in the works. Keep your eyes peeled. Also, we have a clan loyalty initiative going right now. So be good, and maybe Santa Sith will reward you for your loyalty.

Recruitment:

I know Faeril mentioned this in her last report. She said it very well, so I won't re-hash it here. Just remember, leadership comes from within, and not the position you have. Trust me, we do keep a close eye on you all. If you're active, and you help out, we notice. I think perhaps some folks were recently looking for easy promotions, or thought that being BTL, AED or whatever was a reward. Well, it's not. It's a lot of work. Unpaid work. But if you love your Clan, it's no problem.

Communication:

If you have a problem or a question, talk to us. On IRC, email, forums, whatever. We as a summit are always glad to help you in any (legal) way we can. :)

Also, I basically lost my cool on IRC recently. I was furious with someone who I in my opinion has been recruiting people away from the Clan in an underhanded manner. I stand by my opinion, but I apologize for my delivery in case you happened to have heard it.
