A neat and trim Zabrak firmly stood her ground, circled by two Guardians and two Protectors. Her crimson blade intersected the half-hearted attempts by the Journeymen, easily repelling them. Her annoyance was clear, and she taunted them with retreating to a position in which it seemed easy to strike her at. However, she made them pay for their folly, beating them back time after time.

"Is this it? Is this the best that the House has?" The scorn in her voice seared them all, except for another that was hiding in the shadows, watching and observing, and he himself was undetected. However, he felt through the Force that right now they needed inspiration, something to work towards. He knew that he could provide that for them. He stepped from out of the shadows, dropped the Life Sense that he was using to hide his presence, and spoke.

"Maybe they need an example, something to work hard for. If you will, Priest?"

Although initially startled, the Priest recognized the presence and nodded dutifully, "As you will." She then took up her customary Makashi position, and pounced without delay.

The man immediately fell into a Soresu stance, his cerulean lightsabre blade ready for anything. The crash of her blade onto his was expected, and so was his ready counter. He already knew, as did she, that they were not sparring for sport or even to prove oneself superior to the other; They already knew the answers to such things. However, they knew that they were there to inspire, and what a show they put on. Slash, strike, twists, turns, back flips, dodges, all of them were there in a breathtaking display of skill and precision bladework. Finally, when they had worked up a good sweat, they both mutually stepped back and bowed deeply to each other, signifying the respect the one felt for the other. The man didn't look at the assembled Journeymen standing around in awe, he felt their admiration and their hardening resolve to emulate the two Equites in their presence.

Kara Incendia Zor-El, Tetrarch of the Ebon Cloak Battle Team had no such compunctions. "Get moving, it's time for your other duties!" Her charges quickly dispersed, not wanting to incur her wrath.

In the meantime, a beep interrupted the thoughts of the departed Epis. Another message from RevengeX, he saw. A one-line message once again appeared on the screen of his datapad. "Report, woman!"

Timbal sighed and was aggravated, and then activated his commlink....

Howdy, third report time! This week I chose Kara, I hope I did her justice in the small piece. =) If anyone wants to volunteer for the next report, feel free to send me an email. First come, first served. =)

Things to Cover (House Stuffs):

• All's Quiet on the HAD Front! Actually, that's not true, there have been a few bits here and there in terms of activity, but it looks like the majority of folks are resting up for the Next Big Thing, which is a good thing. =)

• Comps: Remember, my Jedi or Mutant comp is running until tomorrow, so anything sent to me at 12:01 AM on the 19th and on will be disqualified! Only 1 entry so far, so send 'em in!

• Fictional Stuffs: The Military Naming comp is done, so we've got a ton of work to do on the military wikis. We'll be filling in that info ASAP, so if you have any ideas, feel free to drop them on me. =)

Random Other Things:

• Reminder: How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if the woodchuck was named Cooch? ;)

• Work: I hate this place. Enough said.

• Speculative Work: Just got word today that I didn't get the job I was hoping for, so I've been bummed all day. However, when I get home I'm doing some serious Rainbow Six Vegas 2 shooting to take out my frustrations. ;)

• Star Wars Weekends @ Disney: Still need to put up the pics that I took up on my MySpace page.

• Metal Gear Solid 4: OMG. Enough said.
