Headmaster Report #10

Pretty important report this week, big announcement plus some project updates and the usual stuff, so read on! Oh, and congrats to Scholae Palatinae on the IG pwning, great job also to Dante and Ylith and everyone else who participated and judged (me included)! Thanks also to Mejas for the super cool report header that is much more fashionable!

News

--I am proud to announce today the release of the second new Shadow Academy course under my tenure as Headmaster: Freighters and Transports. The final course is our "Flight" series, this course is like it’s Starfighter and Capital Starship counterparts in covering the basic classes and types of freighter and transport ships. Written by former Headmaster and Consul Anshar, it’s a very informative course for all your learning needs. Great for roundabout knowledge or to help you out with that future GJW fiction piece, head on over to the Shadow Academy and check out Freighters and Transports today! --As I stated in my last report, the SA Course Audit will begin shortly. However, we still need auditors for three courses (Weapons, Cap Ships, Adv. Poetry), so if you are interested in taking more or helping out, send me an email. It really isn't that hard, you just have to take the time to sit down and read through the course. You will, of course, be rewarded for helping out, as always.

--Turnout for the June Journeymen Competition was low, but as the IGs just ended, I can understand. Hopefully we'll see more come July. Anyways, we had three submissions for June, so we were able to fill the podium, which is always my goal. Congrats to the winners, crescents are coming.

Projects

--The SA Course Audit '08 is our major project now that Freighters/Transports has been released, and that will keep us pretty busy for the rest of June and most of July. Mid-way through July, expect to see another degree released, based around the course released today no less. Other than that, we've got like three drafts of courses that are being reviewed, plus five or six others being written, so we're busy, to say the least.

--Apart from the new degree, also expect another Blast from the Past Week in July. Why? I designed them to run every six months, and some July it will have been six months (also half a year of me as HM). I already know which course I'll be releasing, so we'll see how that turns out.
