** Dinaari & Taldryan news **
-First off, thank you JH Jerse Remid for graciously lending me the Dinaari Intern Banner! (Above)

P.S. I based my report some what off of his, so if you hate it... Well then... you love apricots?
-Well obviously, as most of you know, I (Sidarace Rathden) am Dinaari's Intern for this month of June. Let me say, It is a pretty freaking sweet program. My Best to the next runner up, who will in turn, have to deal with Vlad and Tarax for a whole month as their slave. But I will let you find out the 'Hard' way. ;)
The Clan Taldryan house Feud is starting up July 1st and will run all the way through to the end of the month. How this all works is; Both Houses (Ektrosis and Dinaari) in our prestigious clan Taldryan have a little competition to where we battle it out with each other in various competitions. Much like the IG's as a matter of fact, but only smaller. So all of you new guys who were upset that you missed the Independence Games, here is your chance to shine! I want all of you Journeyman (Yes, this includes me) to get out there and show em' what you got! This is an awesome way to get activity in along with showing what you're capable of. Remember, Ektrosis (Dinaari's sister house) has Taig, Tal's #1 in the IG's. But he seems to be the only one who will stand a chance against us. ;) <3 Ekky
- I'd like at this moment to welcome our two new members. So please welcome; PRT Jegora Fal from the Shadow Academy, and APP Rodimus! Jegora has been showing significant activity since his joining Dinaari less than a month ago. As you can see, he has already moved up in our ranks to the outstanding position of Protector! Keep It up!
-Also, the DB's X MAA Kraval Novir has joined Dinaari's ranks. Welcome Krav! And we hope your stay is plentifully filled with Shad's bending and Ben's X kicking and Tarax's little pranks!
-It is your last chance to get your Submissions in for Dinaari Temporary AED. The House Dinaari Summit announces that it is looking for someone to serve as a temporary Aedile for the time period of two months. The current Dinaari Aedile, Prelate Tarax Eosphoros Kor, will be going on an extended leave of absence for two months during the months of July and August, during which time his duties will need to be attended to by another member of the Clan. The selected member will be moved into the Dinaari Aedile position and will be considered a full member of the Clan Summit. During this time the tempAED (as I feel like calling it) will perform all the duties of a regular Aedile. This is NOT like the Intern program where you learn things - this is full blown leadership and major commitment to it is expected if you are chosen.
Responsibilities of an Aedile include posting an official report once a fortnight for the entire House, running competitions, handling new members, recommending medals and promotions, and in general be a sounding board. While I, the Quaestor, am responsible for all final affairs and operations of the House, my Aedile is pretty much an equal partner in crime. I don't need someone who expects to serve a "master" or anything of the sort - I want someone I can bounce ideas off of, offer me feedback and debate various issues intelligently.
By this point you may be wondering why I'm only offering the position as a temporary appointment. This is because Tarax fully expects to return in two months after his overseas vacation and return to service. He has been a great Aedile and has earned his due. However, in the off chance Tarax dies in a plane crash, doesn't want to return as Aedile, or falls in love and forsakes the DJB forever, the temporary appointment will become permanent. For those of you experienced enough to hold this position it will look good on a resumé no doubt. Please review the requirements carefully and apply only if you meet ALL requirements.
Requirements for Dinaari Aedile (temporary):
Must hold the minimum rank of Guardian
Full knowledge of DJB structure (i.e. ranks, medals, positions, SA, ACC, etc.)
Sufficient experience in leadership (DJB or EH will suffice)
Excellent and speedy communication skills (IRC and e-mail)
You may have up two (2) references [optional] - have them send their reccs directly to me, Tarax, Chaos, and Halc
Your application should address how you satisfy ALL of the requirements in addition to highlighting your experience. Feel free to discuss possible ideas or anything else you think is relevant. Don't bother applying if all you're looking for is promotion, medals, or advancement - I don't have time nor patience for "glory hounds." While the rewards can be nice you'll have to work very hard to earn them. I also have a very sarcastic and dry sense of humor/personality so you'll need to be able to handle that as well.
Applications should be sent to myself, Tarax, Chaos, and Halc with the subject: "Application for tempAED" (without the quotation marks) and are due before July 1st (GMT-5:00). Best of luck to all applicants.

-Well, there has been some pretty active members in Dinaari this month, one of which being Dannyri Panne who passed the SA ACC Initiates test, and the Training Saber test, way to go bro! Along with our boy, Jegora Fal who put in a nice load of Shadow Academy courses these past few weeks which consisted of Krath Grammar Studies, Brotherhood Basics, Pre-Republic History, ACC Initiates and the Star Fighter Studies! Way to go guys, activity is the key to your promotions and recognition in the Brotherhood. Now, what's the best way to stay active kids? Oh, that's Right, Communication via IRC, Email and the DB Message boards along with participating in competitions! But I'm sure you all knew that already. ;)

-Not meaning to put Vlad's (Your QUA) or Tarax's (You're AED) competitions down, seriously, do them, they are wicked fun and easy to do, just go to either of the links above and look for them. They are: Dominus Sicarius II, Hunt the Jedi, Dinaari Mad-Lib! and Vlad's Easter Egg Hunt. All of them are awesome competitions so hop on the train and get those Crescents!
However, I also have a competition out, and may I say it is pretty sweet. Details:
You are sent to the RM/AED/QUA's office (You choose) to discuss your current membership status. As you arrive, you notice that the door is open. You let your curiosity embrace you and enter into the office, prepared for anything. As you enter, there is no one inside, so you decide to look around and see what it's like to be in the great Dinaari Summit's office.
-Describe what it looks like inside the office of said RM/AED/QUA. Is there a large poll in the middle of the room? Is it colorful? Is it painted in pink glow in the dark colors with black lights running along the walls? Get Creative, let your mind wander.
Must be a good half page of writing, no limit for how long it is. Any writing platform, font size 12, Times New Roman or Arial. Will be judged on best over all creativity and originality.
-Send submissions to me via Email at: [Log in to view e-mail addresses] Submissions will close at 11:59 p.m. on the 29th (Sunday) of June.
-5th level crescents will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
-Make it funny, yet with good taste. Spelling will not have a huge effect, I personally will let most stuff go. Just don't submit it in something like rap talk, And dis ting ova dare... And you get the Idea.
-So, go at it and have fun! Yay for competitions which=Activity which also=Crescents and promotions!

** !Closing thoughts! **
-Alright my peeps, it's time I say fair well as I come to the end of my term as Dinaari's Intern. It has been a great time, Vlad and Tarax are great critics and are prompt on all important news. Make sure you all stay active, for as I have said more than once so far, activity is everything towards you're next promotion/medal. I, myself have had to learn this the some what hard way. I was not as active as I could have been when I first joined, and finally after 7 months I got my Jedi Hunter promo. If I had stayed as active as I see some of you guys out there, I would have been a Jedi Hunter a lot sooner. So, my las words are, keep up your activity, and most of all, have fun!
