A PREAMBLE
Greetings Tridens,

As you have read in the last Clan Tarentum Notes, there has been a shift in Tridens summits seats. QUA Raiju Corsair has stepped down to have his valuable time and support now in the midst of members, among members, and as a member. In this time, I would like to publicly thank him for his time of leading us, Tridens as a whole, for all his effort to lead the breath of Tridens, to run the blood flow of our beloved house of rebirth. Without him, we wouldn't have Tridens to level at this stage. Personally I thank him also for his time of teaching me when I assisted him as an Aedile.
I would like to thank the Clan Summits also, CON Anshar Kahn Tarentae and PCON Rekio Corsair Tarentae for the chance given to me to serve more for Tridens and Tarentum.
A little about me, I have been a member of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood for almost three years. I was born as a Dark Jedi here, in House Tridens of Tarentum. Although there was a short piece of my journeyman history I created in Arcona , I always thought that my home was in Tarentum. Hence after returning to this house about a year and a half ago (including some months of Rogue because of my reallife demanded so), I tried my best to serve and serve, as then I served Tridens Battle Teams, Roll Master Office, and before appointed as Quaestor, I served as the Aedile of Tridens.
Moving up to the Quaestor of Tridens, it gives me higher and heavier responsibility placed upon my shoulders. It is not a resemblance of higher power to me but actually a manifestation of a high level servant. I am becoming the first servant of the house, to serve you members of Tridens, as a leader is nothing without his members.
Thus, I would like to emphasize on some points in order to serve you better, and I hope we will use them all as good as we can.
1. Communication
We have e-mails, IRC channel (for live talks) and message boards (in the DB forum) to share ideas, concerns, hopes and opinions, since we are not mind readers. The truth is, if you never speak up we will not know anything of your hope and concern, as so it would be hard for us to help and serve you better. Therefore Tridens, go talk and share, as we are bound in the family of Tridens and Tarentum. Do you have an idea? Talk. Do you have a concern? Talk. Do you hate something? Talk. Do you wish something? Talk. A good family will have a good way to share and help, in delight or sorrow, winning or losing. Tight knit relationship and friendship, fun for all, as a pain to someone in the family, others will may feel that too.
2. Advancement and Friendship
We were born as Dark Jedi in the rank of Initiates, then we progressed. Apprentices, Novices, Acolytes, Protectors, Guardians, Jedi Hunters, and after the trials of Knighthood, Dark Jedi Knights. Then after such proven loyalty and service, some moved up to Equites levels, harder, but full of challenges. And then few of them became Elders, with that fantastic Force lightning to bear after such long dedicated service. But why do only a few of Dark Jedi become Elders?

Political Game is "a game that attempts to simulate the government and politics of all or part of a nation." - Wiki -Political Game. And all of them is just a game, however outside the game we have fun and friendship the DJB wish to promote. We can be merciless in character but outside the character we are comrades, friends. And Tridens (and Tarentum as general) involves and emphasizes in both relationships, family of Tarentum in character and friends outside the character.
We support you to advance as high level as you can. However, a wise word to remember :
Without strife, you do not advance.
3. Activities
Strife, striving, rivalry.
So how do we use strife to advance? The answer is A c t i v i t i e s. Beneficial activities.
What are the activities? Many things we can do as activities in the DJB. Communication/Sharing/Give opinion in email/IRC/MB) is an activity, submitting/joining competition (BT, House, Clan, DB wide levels) is an activity, doing an SA course is an activity, creating graphic for Tridens/Tarentum/DJB is an activity, doing a battle in Antei Combat Center (ACC) is an activity, serving your Battle Team is an activity, writing a fiction/runon/poem/article is an activity, joining/creating an RPG is an activity, participating in a vendetta/feud/Rite of Supremacy/Great Jedi War is an activity, being a code monkey is loads of activities, being an apprentice or a master in MSP program and doing the process is an activity, joining ICTE or daily gaming in the DJB is an activity, being a leader is bunch of activities, and many more.
Choose and fit yourself. But how the activities count to advance? How can A's activities support him to go faster than B's?

Be passionated. Be striven. Be competed. Anger, hatred, fear are not always bad. They are necessary _ but use them wisely and carefully (within the game only, i.e: in character; out of character : no), because they may destroy you _. Rivalry is good. Enjoy them. Passions are the sincere services to yourself to create sincere activities. Giving our best of them. And they are empowering us to reach the next aim.
4. Victory
**Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.**
But how many activities, how much of their quality count to advance, to get your victory, our victory? Journeymen, promotional guides will help you. For Dark Jedi Knight and above, taken from that guide, these statements below are very meaningful to remember :
_As you give unto Tarentum, so shall Tarentum return your honor.
Within Tarentum, no ranks are reserved for specific positions; as long as you continue
to maintain yourself in attendance and fun, you'll progress as far as the DB has to offer._
Tarentum has called us to prepare for the next Great Jedi War. And the preparation starts from now on. Empower yourself Tridens, sharpen your knowledge and skill : writing, gaming, graphical arts and many other fun activities. If we think we can, then we can. Another way of self fulfilling prophecy.
So, Journeymen, get advance! You will have your lightsaber functional to fight against our adversaries in the right time. Dark Jedi Knights and above, help the Journeymen with your valuable experience in the Master Student Pairing Program. Training Battle Team and Yu are the teams of Tridens to strengthen. I will be the first to serve you, to facilitate you, we will train together, learn together. And may the Force serve Tarentum to victory.
